thought about those annoying elite pvp alliances and their tight lolcat balls and came up with these thingys. the idea is to warp a group of hictors and scorps like these directly into the enemy fleet. at best still in range of ur own scimitars.
once they land, start bombing away, but make sure to time the bursts right. on a lvl 5 char those bursts have 15+5 range with 13.125 omni strength.
IF it works it should fuck em up really nicely.

It was something I myself looked into about a year ago. The scorpion now has a bonus specifically for the ECM burst I just checked. They must have changed it since then. But eft is not always 100% accurate. It's accurate 99% of the time and many of the bugs have been worked out, but using it as the bible for eve is just plain idiocy.

Edit: now that I think about it it may have been the falcon I was looking at not the scorp.

I know you're trying to win the backpedal contest here but IIRC it always worked correctly, however, before the added line about the burst, it was unclear exactly which ships got the bonus to ECM Burst strength: so it was clarified that the scorpion got it, and left off of the ships that didn't (basically anything else with a strength bonus)

yes i'm saying I was wrong. I actually took the time to research the actual bonus of the scorpion and how the ecm burst ACTUALLY works. I didnt just blindly trust a 3rd party program. I'm merely speaking from experience nothing more.

truthfully now that i really think hard on it my ecm burst concept was killed in the theorycrafting stage by only being able to use one ecm burst at a time. also I liked your concept actually. problem with only using a 6 hislot bs for this is you need more of them to be succesful at it.

Its a solo ship:P And about the mwd, yea its slow but its not realy a problem.. i roam around and stick to the gates, and more or less let the enemy catch me thinking they have a easy target, most of the time i bait tank letting em take me down as far as half hull befor activaitng the shield booster.. it works rather well..

Doest it need to be a good idea?:P I find it fun to fly stuff most people wouldnt expect. If id bring like a active maelstrom they know it tanks alot. so they bring bigger fleet to break the tank.. once they notice the scorp have a good tank its already to late.. Besides it looks awesome and is cheap:P
