I don't recognize the tanker in the first photo, what is it?
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those Thukkers, that way I wouldn't have to have any goddamn stupid useless conversations with anybody.

Those rotors look kinda vulnerable to birdstrike, etc. I wonder why they didn't just integrate them into a larger wing structure?

    Maybe due to weight?

A range of 100 kilometres. While all these new self piloting air taxis for the rich are cool and all, I think the technology needs to move on a bit before they actually become practical.

Oh without a doubt - but I like seeing new tech being worked on, various alternatives explored and so forth

tbf thats easily enough for an air-taxi role. From a full charge, you could easily do eg: a return trip from Heathrow to The City/Docklands. If it only takes 10-20 minutes to recharge, then it'd be a very practical service, and popular with the kind of people happy to expense for a 100 trip in order to save 1-2 hours in the traffic/tube

There are far greater challenges generally than saving rich people a couple of hours on public transport...

Well in a properly structured society, technological/industrial advances would be driven by the needs of society - in this case, using these vehicles as quick response ambulances, for instance. In the society we live in, the early adopters are rich people in search of convenience, status or advantage, and the ambulance service doesn't get them for 10 or 20 years. It's a shame, but here we are.
