Bahah, someone rep him for me cause that's a great idea. Especially considering how small the stick looks.
    done.
    Viking, n.:
    1. Daring Scandinavian seafarers, explorers, adventurers, entrepreneurs world-famous for their aggressive, nautical import business, highly leveraged takeovers and blue eyes.
    2. Bloodthirsty sea pirates who ravaged northern Europe beginning in the 9th century.

Hagar's note: The first definition is much preferred; the second is used only by malcontents, the envious, and disgruntled owners of waterfront property.

What would happen if those swans would go supersonic at some point? Let's say in a random direction towards atlantic ocean?

The interceptor pilots would ask them if they brought warm clothes for their swim back to shore.

Yea but surely interceptors would run out of fuel way before them? I thought seans are intercontinental strategic bombers?

In a long range stress strategic bomber you can always find a minute for a hot tea whike flying around the Earth.

The interceptors aren't going to follow the bombers over the atlantic and they're right next door to their own airbases. The Tu-160 isn't a modern supercruising design. It burns 2 to 3 times as much fuel going supersonic compared to subsonic. That means, despite its huge range, it wouldn't have enough to fly back to the motherland.

Well, considering that motherland would be a heap of radioactive ash, why would they want to go back? Land in Cuba instead, hit the beaches.
