im such a sucker for planes with huge undernose intakes (F-8 Crusader and A-7 Corsair)

Re: Croatia planes, I have no fucking idea why our government is even considering jet fighters ffs. Croatia is basically so small we don't need em cause the jet has problems staying within our airspace in large parts of the country. Get a bunch of SuperTucanos and helicopters and good AAA platforms for the money, much better for what we actually need (border surveillance, rescue and patrols over sea)

Most air force work is intercepting airliners that strayed from their course and don't respond. Or if they fail to identify themselves. You can't intercept them with Super Tucanos.

And Croatia has similar issues as Israel in terms of size and speed of jets. You too have the ability to just fly out to sea and fly there.

    Have some intercepts:

Hundreds of F-35s could have the wrong fasteners in “critical areas,” according to the Defense Contract Management Agency. But F-35 builder Lockheed Martin says the problem may not need to be fixed.

This is pretty fucking stupid, and is bound to effect long term integrity of the airframe......

Thanks to a BRS (Ballistic Recovery System) parachute that comes standard on this 2017 Cirrus airplane, the stalling engine was not the disaster it might have been in the mountains.
In fact, it has been holding the plane in place on the steep mountainside.

Ejecting the pilots that can't hack it directly into the engine seems a bit harsh.

There's also the rare through the nose intake.

Though I guess it is technically under the nose while loading and this is more "through the neck".

Love the B1, think this is my favourite plane.
The Epic Store is amazing, I've been able to save so much money by not buying their games.
