Its pretty good, SP is taking some time to go through and is actually difficult, you cant run and gun everywhere.
MP isnt broken, its a little buggy and lolp2p means that your match may randomly end for no aparent reason and you can't join another
I got 3-4 good games in before this happened, heading home to try again there.
The leveling up and unlocking system is very CoD like, pick a primary weapon, add attachments, more unlocks as you level the weapon up, more weapons unlock as you level up, etc.
You earn cash from matches and buy new weapons/kit when you unlock them.
Loot bodies fot extra cash, painkillers and ammo, it takes about a second in game, I haven't noticed anyone besides myself actually doing it, there is a piece of equipment that boobytraps the dead bodies, that has got me killed once so far
a couple things got me about max payne 3, annoying voice acting (alan wank) & big smileyface crosshair

Beaten it on medium. And it was fukken hard at times thanks to retarded camera and a bunch of trash that messed with my jumping sessions.
Would have been a fine game if it was about that serbian from GTA4.
Reckon I'm about halfway through on hard. I like it so far. The writing is decent enough that I can enjoy it. Bitter razors gonna bitter.

Love how bodies react to shoots, shooting them to face is fucking awesome. Would love some limbs falling and being blown off, like SoF
My brother rented this from Lovefilm so I borrowed it off him (XBox version). God damn, this game is hard.

The "ripping off Tony Scott" thing wasn't done particular well because the script was so banal.
Highlighting a really bad line on screen a la Man On Fire and Domino just highlights how bad the line is.
At the same time it was incredibly stupid and overwrought. Didn't these games use to have some tongue in cheek dark humour?
I liked the idea of the setting but ultimately the sheer volume of people you shoot tends to completely overwhelm the set dressing and eventually I just didn't notice it as the entire game became one giant pavlov-esque exercise in conditioning me to click on heads.
The cover shooter mechanics meshed poorly with the HKBO mechanics. They were also quite poorly done.
Playtesting was p bad too. Difficulty balancing was really badly done in some bits. The rooftop. >
Lots of the gameplay mechanics were clunkily implemented and I often felt like I'd been killed by the control scheme as often as not.
Got bored before I finished.
On the bright side the lighting engine is nice.

Is the bullet time camera cutting to get more gore on screen as irritating in practice as it was just watching the trailer? I really don't think I could play a game that did that.
It's definitely worth pirating and you can turn the bullet camera off.
Finished on hard. It was pretty hard at times. Also I have no idea what spm11 is on about. I never had any trouble with controls or bad camera angles. Just getting shot in the arm while firing blind

Had it for my Bday last Friday and really enjoying it, cut scenes really remind me of the original, bullet time and bullet shots really good especially some of the finishing shot angles (also with Chaot1c no issues with bad camera angles)

I wasn't very clear with that, meant the voicing, always felt the Max Payne 2 voice actor was different to Max Payne so didn't quite get the same environment, but apparently same bloke does all three.lolwat
Yeah the voice is okay. It's the emotionless and most of the time reasonless constant whining that isn't.
The office cutscene bored me to death.
