Also the German title totally reflects the original one: "Mit Schirm, Charme und Melone" (="With umbrella, charm and bowler hat")
Absolutely gorgeous as Emma Peel, also played gramma Tyrell in GoT.
Ha, right, totally forgot about that. I don't remember for how many episodes after she first appeared I though "She looks familiar, but I'm pretty sure I don't know that actress", only to find out it was her by accident some time later. Another great female role.

Look, the wages you withheld from the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves for slaughter.

First period today was media class. My 9th grade students had to prepare presentations while I put on Van Halen's 1984 (coincidentally the year I was born).

Next door in the other computer lab the IT teacher (who also teaches music and is a professional musician) had to turn off the music as he was concentrating on the solos too much.

    James Randi died.

In a world where people pick up even the most hilarious conspiracy theory and start believing in it, a true and entertaining skeptic like him will be truly missed.

If you haven't seen it, I recommend watching the documentary An Honest Liar.

If you prefer something shorter, here's his TED talk Homeopathy, quackery and fraud.

A truth teller like him will be sorely missed in this day and age.

So many wrecked charlatans he has left in his wake though.. Respect for a job well done and a life well lived.

He had so many health scares over the past 20 years, making it to 92 is something to be proud of.

I just hope the "I'm a hardcore skeptic and that counts as having a personality also I'm smarter than you" crowd doesn't deify him too much now that he's gone.

92 is a prett good run, especially for someone who never availed himself of the wonderful benefits of colloidal silver.
