German Medieval Metal bands have been playing songs in Latin, Old Norse, Old High German and other languages for decades. Have some personal favorites.

In Extremo (from Berlin) on the other hand didn't fully write their own songs for the first albums. Instead they picked lyrics from European history. If you played Gothic, you saw them perform on the market square.

I had to learn Latin for 2 years in high school.
It's cool and all but fuck that language. Almost flunked second year because of language nobody has spoken in almost 2000 years.
I was somewhere around Old Man Star, on the edge of Essence, when drugs began to take hold.
I took seven years of Latin and unless you study history, there's no need. Thankfully I ended up studying history and had to deal with Latin sources, otherwise I'd be much more upset about not picking another language.

I was gobsmacked at the utter arrogance of the comment. Use Opera, open a private browsing session, login to youtube, open every new video in a new tab, close the old tabs as you see fit.
