Apparently they want us to test trading because the profits are way higher than doing missions. Average mission nets 70-110, while a single trade run in a freelancer can get you 100k+ profit. Still, it works and is kinda cool.

Man the 3.0 is like some old school mac comp that ctd when you tried to start some adobe software back in 2003..

Like i followed all steps and got the new launcher and my account migrated to the new server. Buy after login is done and you try to launch and splash screen shows you get a message 10002 network error.. i verified the game files but it says nothing is wrong. I checked win firewall and its ok too.

Besides having to use up almost 50% of my monthly data cap to download it again. What can I do?
The game feels more alpha stage than the previous version like wtf...

Do you have the new Delta Launcher?
    10002 is a connection error.

Delete user folder and repair, shouldn't take much data to download.

My issue exactly until I followed this advice.

Although since the update last night there are a whole new set of issues to contend with. Frustrating as yesterday was the most playable / fun / stable day I've had yet with SC.

Roberts posted about the FPS issues and faults the current state of the game. They evidently have identified most problems and have solutions for everything (though I feel like they've used the "Object Container streaming (whole areas of the game are only streamed in when needed on the client, allowing for dramatically less objects on clients" as a potential solution for a couple years now).

They have had the solution for a long time, it's just dependent on so many other improvements before it can be implemented.
    64bit code
    Object Containers
    Item 2.0

Just the last bit of stuffs left to migrate into the Item 2.0.

    Nice.

I’m waiting because the black hole system has planets. If I’m going to have a view, it might as well be a little out of the way and a little interesting.

Looks like RSI responded to that crytek suit.

Leonard French has covered it here.

Looks like RSI will be fine. DSmart is apparently all sorts of salty.

Someone talking about the swatting-incident? I don't get it ... what does it have to do with Derek Smart?

Edit: nvm ... should've just kept on watching.

If only he spent as much energy, time and passion on making his own shitty games better, as he does trying to tear down what Chris Roberts etc are trying to do.

He might contribute something worthwhile to the games industry.

As it stands he is in the same league as asset flippers.

Yeah star citizen might be a bloated mismanaged mess but i think it maybe already works better than anything that scam artist has ever made.

He's a hateful horrible abortion of a human being.

Geez, what did the asset flippers do to earn that comparison?

    Crytek's case just gets dumber.
Got to look at contract as a whole, except for this part, and this and this one.
