You probably don't have the system for it but if you can the m.2 drives are fucking amazing and also decently cheap.

While you won't get the full potential out of it, you can mount them in a PCIE adapter.
Why is it called earth, when it is mostly water???

M.2 is just another form factor for PCIe. So you'll still get the full potential out of an M.2 drive in a PCIe adapter.

Hence there being non-storage devices that can plug into m.2 slots.

    HOWEVER
Do be aware some m.2 slots are in SATA mode and therefore are NOT capable of pcie ssds/other pcie m.2 devices - check what yours are.

TL;DR your specs are largely fine, just get a good/moderate SSD.

    Regular sata SSD = r/w speeds ~400mb/s
    M.2 drive =r/w speeds ~2000mb/s

m.2 is a slot. You can get SATA m.2 drives and NVMe m.2 drives. And they're mostly WAY faster than 2000mb/s,

Currently PTU - Which is very smooth and stable and even more gorgeous - has replaced walk around stations with Elevator access to different areas creating a ' loading screen scenario. Thoughts ?

Probably an inevitable compromise from people complaining about having to walk the long walk (and train ride) every time they respawn. I hope it's a temporary expedient though. In the long term, I wouldn't expect to be respawning in the same location as often as I do now and the sense of scale you get from having to travel through the zones is unique. (YMMV, IMHO, caveats apply, always read the small print).
