IDK about that thermal hole. Also, all that isk in the tank & tackle and no single faction gyro?
    Faction Gyro adds 16 DPS

So on kitey battleships... Are webs better for holding tackle away or are grapplers better for killing light tackle when it inevitably managages to catch you?

If you want to go the mjd version (which im not that big a fan of in the mach) its very much up to debate. A faction web is better anti tackle, a grappler allows you to maybe kill tackle once it got to you, id always go for the web because even if you can kill what tackles you the rest will eventually come and it to easy to outplay a single grapplers.

Due that that id always drop the mjd and go for armor web +grappler if solo nowadays or go shield + web (so no mjd either).

If you want to mjd dunk people or just have one for fun get a floon (or barghest if you are swimming in isk).

If you're soloing, MJD is a bad choice really. It's two modules getting disabled by a single scram on you. Mach doesn't have the tracking bonus, so you really need both the faction web and the grappler to properly apply your dps to anything sub BC, not just frigates/dessies.
A shield mach is simply not viable anymore in my opinion.

Basicely, although the floon behaves a bit different then the mach in that it isnt a pure kiter. It kites with the mjd, the neuts and oppressing dps against stuff that can reach it. Its not that fast (around 1.7km/s with mg snakes, compared to 2.1k for a mach + mg snakes)

For lowsec pvp at plex id take a floon over a mjd mach all the time.

(something like: (i like the rf point, bling the rest as much as you want))
