Longbow is awesome, but I can't wonder if a close-range weapon is better sometimes.

Their sword/greatsword skills are *amazing* imo... i would roll a melee ranger immediately if it wasnt for the retarded pet which i hate. :P

Why do you "really need a dagger offhand"? RtL is amazing for mobility, but Staff gives you permanent Swiftness which the other builds can't do until later

Does the cross server stuff work now? Wiki says it will be added after launch so i'm guessing it's too soon? If it's not available any official statement on when it'll work?

I don't think you realize how much easier it makes things because you're a Guardian with horrible mobility
edit: btw, EU guild stash is ok to take stuff from - you all have access, I put some Magic Find food in that everyone should use if 45+

Guardian has "Retreat!" which is great anyways, use it like an MWD for scepter strafing runs.

Another question, can i join the guild from another servers if so what are the cons of doing it? I'm under the impression that The Bakery is on the US servers?
You can join as many guilds as you want to and they can be from anywhere, but you can only Represent one guild at a time and it will be that guild's chat you are partaking in at the time. I'm on EBay, I'm in CAKE like most of the rest of us. Problem isn't the guild, I had a great time yesterday running with Gao, Jones, Demerz etc. It's that the server as a whole has no night time presence whatsoever for once they're gone.

Kind of, you can run instances with people from different servers. However they disabled guesting to other servers while the free server transfers are still up (guesting was working in the beta) so it should be soon.
I've asked Anet about this on reddit and they told me they would address it next update but it hasn't happened yet. I have like 3 different groups I would like to PvE with so it kinda sucks
I'm sure it's frustrating to be sperging about how someone said "no, not doing that yet" - but we've had 7 years to learn to pace ourselves after killing a block. And I dare say -- we've gotten quite good at it.

Well the greatsword is cool but the sword skills with dagger/axe are truly hilarious. Hornet Sting and the leap are awesome at GTFO damage.
And anyways a pet just adds extra damage/tanking ability, it's not that bad.
I am still a noob so I have not started PvPing yet. Once I get to level 30 I want to try it out, but I know my gear will be shit and I read real 80s will rape you.
None of which you described has anything to do with the combat in PvE, which is most of the game. Neither, I'm a fagbear who can't level fast enough cause' he's playing three characters instead of leveling one.
we did some fucking work today. good jorb to all involved.
I started PvPing from level 20 on various chars (mesmer/warrior/engineer), they're all now in the 30s and I have 300+ kills, and several CAKE guys have way more than me.
Come on, how many mil XP were you when you first went to nullsec?
