Found out that adjusting the screen angle on my laptop causes it to shut down. Guess it sitting at over 90 degrees Celsius idle wasn't bad enough now I have to get it repaired.

Today was pretty chill. Nothing major really, although after a decent flight today I totally ballsed my landing back into Kelowna. Aimed to land right after a boat wake that had just crossed us. It was perfect, fucking spot on I was convinced it was going to be beautiful considering the fairly shitty conditions, just didn't add quite enough power to float over it and wound up impacting the wake sending me ballooning back up, another slam then a go around. Fucking nasty.
Oh well. No damage caused just a rough landing. Rest of the day was spent chilling at the school enjoying a couple beers with them when they finished up and helped on the dock for a while too. Earlyish night back here and up early tomorrow (8am) to stream Manchester City v Southampton. Best be worth getting up for.
Trail went dead on the girl that emailed me back, I got back to her a few days ago and nothing since. We'll see on that one, if not, no real issue. Nice girl in the coffee shop next to the school though called Ashley. See how we go might try that one but will take buying a few more strawberry smoothies to get a decent idea whether or not I stand a chance.
