I am drunk. I have nothing more to add.
Well, a large part of was due to my graduating college and getting a new job. However, I did a lot of private consulting during that time and paid far less in taxes after tax cuts, and I got a raise every year at my day job. I've not had a raise in the last 3 years...but am asked to do more and more work day by day. The administration didn't directly affect me aside from the tax cuts and generally creating an environment of prosperity which no doubt contributed to the raises at my day job.
And ofc had nothing to do with the following environment of recession. That's just magic and socialism.

It clearly did. My employer lost $1Billion of its endowment as a result of the derivatives market crashing. Which certainly affected my lack of a pay raise and increasing demands in the workplace from day to day. However, the current administration said they would fix it. And they haven't. Instead, they gave me healthcare (which I don't need) and gay marriage (which I don't give a fuck about). gg

Are you maybe setting your expectations a bit high expecting them to fix huge, global and ongoing financial crash in less than 4 years?

The last administration said they'd find Hussein's weapon production facilities. And they didn't.

SHOCK HORROR. STOP THE PRESSES. SOME POLITICIANS WERE UNTRUTHFUL.

(I am playing devil's advocate, you seem settled in what you believe and I'm way too blasted to argue politics on the internet, as fun as that sounds)

    g'night.

I view daythreads as a twitter like life blog, except the authors don't have a topic in mind, and can type more letters.

Guaranteed more readers here than twitter as well, at least I don't think I'm being blocked by any one yet
