I have a question.
Why does the title mention rusty, and in the OP it shows a weapon probably used in the first gulf war.
EDIT: holy shit, that was 20 years ago.

Big ups mate big big ups
[offtopic] Until a few years ago I spent 4 years living in North Wales near to a now defunct nuclear power station. One of the locals was telling me a story one day about how one of the maintenance workers who used to work there decided one day to take a load of old paint brushes that were lying around home and use them to decorate his house. He reckoned that a week or two later someone did some checks to find where said missing equipment had gone, and when they found out what had happened they had to rush a team round to this blokes house with a Geiger counter which started to have a happy fit, as the brushes he had taken had previously been used to pain a contaminated area at the plant. His whole house reputedly had to be gutted and decontaminated.
Another story I heard was about when Chernobyl went pop, some hours later everyone at the same plant reputedly started to shit themselves when a load of the alarms started to go off, they all thought they were having similar probs. Turned out they were picking up the passing cloud from the commie plant [/offtopic]

iirc quite a few plants across Europe had shit-fits as a result of that cloud setting off their alarms. Things like people setting off alarms coming into the plant, rather than going out. Tracing it to the radioactive grit that settled on the ground and was caught in the grip on their shoes.
Also, iirc there have been some shenanigans at the Lucas Heights Research Reactor in Sydney over the years, but we have a healthy attitude in our nuclear industry here of shit-canning whistle-blowers and ignoring incidents like gross safety violations.
EDIT: also off-topic, but I'm interested in hearing how you found it to be working with the ANA units, Lark. I've seen some videos of operations with them + coalition units and (at best) they often seem ... disinterested.

The first the west knew of Chernobyl was detecting the fallout cloud as it made it's way across Europe.
Reference the ANA... They were an interesting bunch. Ability wise they ranged from reasonably competent to being a fucking liability, tending towards the latter. It's not entirely their fault, their equipment was dire, their training was appalling but the attitude a lot of them had was just... well... Inshallah. Drug use and bumming were an issue too. I'm really fucking glad I was never involved in any super serious contacts where we were getting the majority of the good news, because, frankly, it probably wouldn't have worked out too well. As mentors we were officially there to provide advice and white man magic when things went crook. More often than not we were carrying them and planning all the patrols and ops.
Saying that, there were a number of good officers, NCOs and soldiers who could, bar the language barrier, have functioned in a proper army. I got a lot out of that tour and enjoyed the 'adult' setting (most of the time I was working out of a PB with 7-8 other paleskins and about 30-40 ANA, we were just left to get on with it, very little bullshit or other interference).
Robot 15 on truck launcher (missiles where also able to be fitted to plane/boat)
Basic idea, one radar truck/fire control and a few launchers parked in the woods wherever you expect dirty russkis to come at you, fire missiles and watch them go boom

you fire missiles and drive the fuck out of there before the angry return fire comes in you mean.
the RBS 15 is a awesome SSM though.
Germany was wiping grids before it was cool.
