So I was arguing with whispous because that's what I do regardless of what his position is and whether mine actually agrees with it or not.
Whilst I personally have no interest in ponies, nevermind NSFW ponies, it seems that whispous did not give it a chance simply because he doesn't want it. And as aforementioned I like arguing with him.

In all seriousness, if there are posters who want a NSFW pony thread it seems hypocritical to deny them. I mean, we wanted a pony thread contrary to the wishes of the majority of FHC posters and were not denied.

I would not be personally offended by a NSFW thread.
That said, I don't think it's necessary. There are plenty of well (or at least decently) indexed websites for that sort of thing. A dedicated thread would just be redundant and do more to misrepresent a majority of the posters here and the community at large than anything else. I would not contribute to it and I suspect 90% of the people who would are trolls anyway.

I think it's important to differentiate between NSFW and Rule 34. I have posted NSFW material that is really well drawn but a bit risque or suggestive (johnjoseco comes to mind). Is that content going to be banned now? Because that would be a travesty to the art world. I still support a ban on Rule 34.
