Americans, can we send them to Cameroon? (Poacherhunting)

In the last year, 450 of the 600 elephants in Bouba N’Djida National Park in Cameroon were killed. There are only 9 such parks in the country.

Why can't we just send in some Americans with a license to kill poachers? Americans love summary execution and vigilanteism. If you dont like these things clearly you don't belong here, get out.

This way, rather than americans shooting each other or poor people, we can put them somewhere very sparsely populated where shooting anyone you can see can be properly encouraged.

On a more serious note, Cameroon sent 100 troops to secure the park. With 9 other parks nearby, I dont see how that's anything but a political CYA move.

Besides, how are 100 guys supposed to cover 2,200 SQ km in that park alone? Do you think the 100 new troops sent to cover this one national park is going to have any effect at all?

In order for it to be a joke it has to be funny. There might have been some funny in there somewhere when you were writing the post, but it definitely was dead and/or gone by the time you hit submit (maybe the guy on the tractor shot it?).
