Truth be told, I enjoyed this exchange, and the giant cat (before it was microwaved... that was in odd taste). But mostly hated the episode until the final minutes when I changed my opinion.

Just marathon'd Karas. Was pretty good although to be honest I would recommend marathonning it (~2.5 hours) instead of watching the episodes individually, since the story takes some time to start up.
Pretty entertaining nonetheless if you see it as a long action flick.

Joshiraku... stays... odd. The episodes haven't been as strong as they were at the start, but I guess it's still sorta interesting?
I don't know about anyone else... but I *really* missed hearing 'Sora wo Ikibi Tsubasa ga Ari' as the BGM during this scene. Season one made good use of it for the short tranformation scene / fight sequence.

Finally caved and started watching SAO. Watched all 5 eps tonight, it's pretty good. Despite all it's similarities to .hack it feels different overall and I like it quite a lot. Tho I think ep 5 has been the best by a long shot. Took them fucking long enough to include asuna again. Ep 4 felt suspiciously like filler, tho I assume that chick will show up again before long.
