    This Cheat Engine table should help alleviate tedium issues - copy it to a text editor and save it as mon_que.CT (not sure if it has to be in the same dir as the rest of the game - that's where I had it tho), and it should automatically load once you attach Cheat Engine to the process:

    Code:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <CheatTable CheatEngineTableVersion="12">
      <Forms/>
      <CheatEntries>
        <CheatEntry>
          <ID>8</ID>
          <Description>"Player Health"</Description>
          <Color>80000008</Color>
          <VariableType>4 Bytes</VariableType>
          <Address>0055f848</Address>
          <Offsets>
            <Offset>C84</Offset>
          </Offsets>
        </CheatEntry>
        <CheatEntry>
          <ID>9</ID>
          <Description>"Player SP"</Description>
          <Color>80000008</Color>
          <VariableType>4 Bytes</VariableType>
          <Address>0055f848</Address>
          <Offsets>
            <Offset>D24</Offset>
          </Offsets>
        </CheatEntry>
        <CheatEntry>
          <ID>6</ID>
          <Description>"Damage of Next Attack (Player &amp; Enemy)"</Description>
          <Color>80000008</Color>
          <VariableType>4 Bytes</VariableType>
          <Address>0055f848</Address>
          <Offsets>
            <Offset>C8C</Offset>
          </Offsets>
        </CheatEntry>
      </CheatEntries>
      <UserdefinedSymbols/>
    </CheatTable>
    The health/SP bars won't properly update if their being held at a given value, but it still works fine internally. The Damage of Next Attack works as expected; if you use it to obliterate a scripted battle, it continues as normal (haven't tried it on the forced losses tho ...)

    the fights are kind of whatever, but i'm reading it for the "story" (aka character development) at this point. the h-scenes distinctly unsexy, but then i wasn't really trying to fap to it anyway.

    just finished part 1, hoping part 2 doesn't get too grimderp. solid + atm

    Err, do you need a copy of the MS Japanese fonts? o_o (also, if that's WINE like I think it is, remember to have the Japanese locales available and invoke it with 'LC_ALL=ja_JP wine /path/to/lols' as it has an effect on text handling IIRC ... if not, I'd like to know wtf you did as Win7 doesn't do that even in the US locale >.>)

    Started watching a series I'd never heard of called guilty crown. Colour me impressed. It's really damn good. Suberb animation, great score, a few of the characters are a tad stereotypical but the overall story is quite interesting. Definitely worth a look at

    In order of importance:

    The story makes literally no sense by halfway through and you still don't get any background for half the side characters

    Don't watch the last 2 episodes, they never happened.

    Also the MC is such a Gary Stu he makes Kirito look like a 3 legged puppy.

    Other than that, the animation is pretty swish and the soundtrack is alright

    Eventually the writer's decide to throw plot continuity out the door... and just roll with the hilarious train wreck instead.

    But keep watching, it's quite fun and engaging in the beginning!

    (and for god's sake don't let us scare you away from an enjoyable show)

    You know... I've never really understood this complaint.

    A MC in a story, theoretically, based on the notion that 'hard work pays off', shouldn't really allow for a Gary Stu MC... no? What am I, or what are you, missing?

    I'll certainly be the first to admit to possibly being blinded to the bad points of the series. I'm a fan of the franchise after all.

    (it's worth pointing out that the second ep of SAO and Campione! have some really seriously glaring pacing issues. Serious ones. Although, to be fair both have some subtle references that go well with the 'show, don't tell' motif. Both shows seem hell-bent on sacrificing depth for the cool factor. Sort of expected in an adaption though).

    I'm going to use copypasta to my response in the /a/ thread

    (Spoilers for anyway who haven't read up to and including GGO arc)

      Spoiler:
    >Guy is pretty much the strongest in the MMO, barring the cheating admin-player
    >Wears a hipster long coat (always must be black) and hides an even more powerful skill for insurance
    >Gets a girlfriend who's the prettiest girl in the game
    >She's also the second strongest player
    >They proceed to get married and then have cybersex
    >They get a daughter who is an AI and also happens to have admin privileges
    >Meanwhile, girls left and right swoon over him
    >The two of them solo a very hard boss that would otherwise take an entire team to defeat
    >Beats the game and sets free everyone who were trapped in the game, is called the Hero
    >Discovers his girlfriend did not escape, her soul is still stuck in cyberspace
    >She's also a rich ojou whose father is the finance behind the MMO
    >Looks exactly as she does in the game (i.e., the super rare hot ones in a mmo demographic)
    >He dives into another MMO to save her after hearing rumours
    >Somehow his maxed stats gets carried over to the new game due to a bug
    >So he's a starter player but has the stats of an expert player
    >Beats the shit out of entire player armies one week after he starts
    >Acquire more girls into his virtual harem
    >Makes friends with demon-god level boss monsters
    >Finds out his girlfriend's soul is trapped on the highest floor of an impossible dungeon
    >What does he do? Stupid question; charge in of course
    >No need for power of friendship, his allies gets their ass handed to them halfway up the dungeon
    >He soloes the rest of it
    >Defeats the insane game admin holding girlfriend hostage by DESTROYING HIS ADMIN PRIVILEGES through deus ex machina
    >Lots of shouting of each other's names later, he reunites with his girlfriend
    >They start dating IRL. Not even dating, they're feeding each other already
    >Ministry informant comes to offer him a job to play MMO full-time with a 6 figure pay in yen, that's few thousand dollars
    >He joins a gun-based MMO as part of his job
    >Chooses to wield a lightsaber anyway. So he brings a sword to a gun fight
    >Gets the rarest prettyboy avatar that's generated at random
    >Meets top female player of that MMO
    >She is the cool beauty kind of girl
    >Wins the in-game casino-ish minigame simply by being hax (probably had his evasion stats carried over, again)
    >Money rains into his pockets
    >Less than a week of joining MMO he decides to join the top PvP event
    >Predictably, he swords the shit out of all the gun users anyway
    >By slicing bullets in half. With a sword. (In the author notes, he actually made an apology for having no fucking clue how guns work.)
    >Cool beauty girl PTSDs because heroines need to have trauma so they can be saved
    >Guy saves her from imminent IRL death, cures her PTSD and defeats bad guy in one stroke
    >Turns out girl's potential love interest is actually a crazy psycho
    >So the guy has to rush to her house and save her
    >Because saving her in game wasn't enough
    >He becomes pretty much her only friend she can open up to, you can see where this is going to go

    He's not quite Naruto level, but he gets pretty close

    Also the whole "How did you run so far? you exceed the system limit on the dexterity stat" "The power of love"

    Even so, I'll probably still watch it all just for the animation and soundtrack

    edit: hahaha PA

    Some of those are sorta... daft, and others seem like feedback from someone who simply read the highlights of the story

    MASSIVE SAO > ALO > GGO spoilers. Don't even think of reading 'em.

      Spoiler:

    No... really.
      Spoiler:

    >Guy is pretty much the strongest in the MMO, barring the cheating admin-player
    +What part of 'hard work pays off' counters the notion that he'd be the strongest player? Only in Japan do you want to watch stories about loser's getting harems... amirite?

    >Wears a hipster long coat (always must be black) and hides an even more powerful skill for insurance
    +But long coats are cool... The LN's explain on multiple occasions why he's hiding the 'trump skill'.

    >Gets a girlfriend who's the prettiest girl in the game
    +Certainly one of the most famous... but we don't really know if she's the prettiest. Although, this is a LN with a strong dose of wish-fuffliment. No shock right? There aren't many ugly girls in standard anime.

    >She's also the second strongest player
    +I know I hate the "strong female that turns into the wailing damsel shortly after meeting the hero" trope, so that's a bonus for me.

    >They proceed to get married and then have cybersex
    +So... err... hero getting married in a harem show? wut?

    >They get a daughter who is an AI and also happens to have admin privileges
    +Who's an important character in roughly one side story in SAO, and uses those privileges once, on something pretty damn trivial. Afterwards she's more of a SQL search engine interface. Important character for the rest of the series, but certainly not very powerful.

    >Meanwhile, girls left and right swoon over him
    +Married? With a daughter? wut?

    >The two of them solo a very hard boss that would otherwise take an entire team to defeat
    +The two strongest player's... and that doesn't sound very 'solo' to me. They also had a raid team with them. Are you sure you've read this story?

    >Beats the game and sets free everyone who were trapped in the game, is called the Hero
    +That's the typical definition of a hero, no? Although, as has been pointed out elsewhere in regards to other topics... being the winner of an MMO that gets deleted isn't very meaningful.

    >Discovers his girlfriend did not escape, her soul is still stuck in cyberspace
    +Technically she's being looked after by her fiance. Don't see an issue here.

    >She's also a rich ojou whose father is the finance behind the MMO
    +Wait... hold on... the company owner behind a game that murders thousands of people, are we listing this as a pro or con?

    >Looks exactly as she does in the game (i.e., the super rare hot ones in a mmo demographic)
    +Did we actually read the same story? Every single player looks exactly as they do in-game. That's sort of the point of the game.

    >He dives into another MMO to save her after hearing rumours
    +Sequel? In my LN? NEVAR!

    >Somehow his maxed stats gets carried over to the new game due to a bug
    +Technically his stats/cash/etc get carried over. But it's a pretty crappy half-implemented new game built on the old game... because they own the old game code, and were just trying to make a rip of the other property. That never ever ever happens in reality with WoW-Clones.

    >So he's a starter player but has the stats of an expert player
    +See above?

    >Beats the shit out of entire player armies one week after he starts
    +See above? The idea that a player with over two years experience and equipment and skills and stats would beat folks with less than six months experience is a shock, why?

    >Acquire more girls into his virtual harem
    +Married, with a daughter? wut? In my harem story?

    >Makes friends with demon-god level boss monsters
    +Makes perfect sense if you read the story. How many actual MMO player's consider NPC's to be anything other than fodder?

    >Finds out his girlfriend's soul is trapped on the highest floor of an impossible dungeon
    +Half-implemented impossible dungeon with a single room of content?

    >What does he do? Stupid question; charge in of course
    +Takes a full raid group with 'em?

    >No need for power of friendship, his allies gets their ass handed to them halfway up the dungeon
    +see above? single room of content? They clear the single room letting him get through it.

    >He soloes the rest of it
    +Solo'ing an empty dungeon didn't seem hard to me. Most anyone can walk down empty hallways.

    >Defeats the insane game admin holding girlfriend hostage by DESTROYING HIS ADMIN PRIVILEGES through deus ex machina
    +Yeah, I don't really remember that bit, so I'll leave it to you. Fairly certain his girlfriend stole the admin's privileges earlier, and gave them to our hero?

    >Lots of shouting of each other's names later, he reunites with his girlfriend
    +huh?

    >They start dating IRL. Not even dating, they're feeding each other already
    +huh? After hanging out together for two years they're... eating together? Are you a Japanese schoolkid that this offends you?

    >Ministry informant comes to offer him a job to play MMO full-time with a 6 figure pay in yen, that's few thousand dollars
    +6 figure yen income is a thousand dollars. I think I can make more than that at home filling out surveys online fulltime. That's not much of a job. Hell, people have made more money with a single scam in Eve Online.

    >He joins a gun-based MMO as part of his job
    +Wouldn't it be daft if they were paying him a few thousand dollars a year to NOT do something?

    >Chooses to wield a lightsaber anyway. So he brings a sword to a gun fight
    +Fairly certain he's got years of sword skills by this stage, no? Also star wars taught us all that bringing a light saber to a gun fight is an auto-win.

    >Gets the rarest prettyboy avatar that's generated at random
    +Technically I think he looked exactly like a girl. I'm not sure, but looking like a cute girl in a game involving shooting people, preferably in the face, doesn't sound like a bonus. Wouldn't you want to look intimidating? I've played PvP games in MMO's. Looking cute doesn't really end up being a positive.

    >Meets top female player of that MMO
    +He's joining this competition, and meets someone also joining. It'd be weird if she was a crappy player. Also, extraneous characters in a story are never a good thing.

    >She is the cool beauty kind of girl
    +Bwaha... seriously, did you read these stories?

    >Wins the in-game casino-ish minigame simply by being hax (probably had his evasion stats carried over, again)
    +There's this system in-place where you can copy your characters between games, because they're all built on the same core program. That's actually quite clever and would be wonderful IRL.

    >Money rains into his pockets
    +Wins at a casino, and gets money? wut? I nevar!

    >Less than a week of joining MMO he decides to join the top PvP event
    +Joined the MMO specifically to partake in the PvP event. Really... you didn't read the story, right?

    >Predictably, he swords the shit out of all the gun users anyway
    +Multiple of years of experience vs. folks with six months experience... again. And as an added bonus the bullets have tracer rounds that show you the bullet path... before they fire.

    >By slicing bullets in half. With a sword. (In the author notes, he actually made an apology for having no fucking clue how guns work.)
    +Ever seen Star wars? they bounce laser beams around. That's a minor transgression compared to some shows.

    >Cool beauty girl PTSDs because heroines need to have trauma so they can be saved
    +Err... she murder's some guy as a little kid. I think the PTSD made perfect sense. Also, wasn't his wife like the second strongest player in that other MMO? So was she PTSD'ing as well?

    >Guy saves her from imminent IRL death, cures her PTSD and defeats bad guy in one stroke
    +Because the bad guy is the cause of the imminent IRL death. And the PTSD is not cured. Seriously, read the damn story. Our heroine in GGO murder's someone as a child, I think a stress disorder involving guns makes perfect sense.

    >Turns out girl's potential love interest is actually a crazy psycho
    +I don't know about your love interests, but I find the psycho ones are often a bit more interesting. Don't date red-haired girls, I guess?

    >So the guy has to rush to her house and save her
    +Didn't we cover this already? Imminent IRL death and stuff? a few lines up?

    >Because saving her in game wasn't enough
    +Right... because people die when they're killed in MMO's... what are you smoking?

    >He becomes pretty much her only friend she can open up to, you can see where this is going to go
    +He's still married thought, right? I'm guessing not very far?

    But really, having said all that... I'm pretty meh'ish on the anime adaption of this and Campione! Campione is getting the axe much much harder. Ep1 condensed an entire volume into 20'ish minutes. Ep2 condensed an entire volume into a single throw away line in the episode. Ouch >_<;;

    Both are still fun watches though, so w/e.
