On a related note, apparently Yuki Kajiura (Fate/Zero and Madoka soundtrack creator) is also doing the music for the anime of Sword Art Online

The two cour anime will potentially cover the first four volumes of the LN so SAO and ALO arcs are likely a go. The VN for Asuna is doing the ED IIRC as well, so there's lot of potential for coolness there and Kalafina is potentially doing a ED or OP as well.

Huh? BT has the translated versions of each book, and they have multiple versions of every book in every Ereader format under the sun, including PDF (the link is right on the SAO page on BT, but I'll include it here):

Dunno, I've been nabbing versions for my Kindle there or taking the PDF's and converting them over.
You don't technically NEED the Vol2 SAO Side Stories but many of the characters in later volumes are first introduced there. Try the page I linked and see if that helps. AFAIK they have converted versions for stuff that was translated as recently as May 22 (Vol 9). As an added bonus be sure to read some of the Side Stories, and Sword Art Online: Material Editions.
The author has been churning out content since 2002, IIRC, so there's a lot of material in the SAO universe.
