But you guys often roam though 0.0 right? Maybe not the best idea with a 120Mio Clon.
So maybe more people stay in low? THIS IS THE LOW SEC BUFF!![]()

Read it all in one go, skipping the bits that I don't care about like CSM voting processes and new player training, to carefully perusing new starbases,
gang link changes, Incarna, DUST & Industry.
Thats 2 hours of my life I will never get back!
[to be fair I liked the actual notes and the detail].

I find the current minutes hilarious. All from 40-50k dps sentries (killing triage in 5 min with no neuts ftw ) to you lot raging about off grid boosting who dont need a full virtue set to probe out. Let me explain something in large fleet fights on grid cs will not live longer then 2 min. No amount of reps will help you if the enemy isnt completely incompetent while in small fleet fights the additional dude for on grid boosting can be simply too much for smaller groups. Also if you manage to keep them alive cs have one large advantage which is their mobility. T3s really lack that. Just switch cs and t3 bonuses and its balanced.
Offgrid boosting needs to die, but at the same time, both shield and armor fleets need to have skirmish links available. So that means you either let the Claymore get a decent armor tank option, or you let all command ships field all types of links with bonuses and differentiate their characteristics (gallente: speedy armor tank, Amarr: slow armor brick, Caldari: slow shield brick, Minnie: fast shield tank), kinda like what they seem to be planning with Hictors. One of my corpies wrote it up better than i can on Eve-O.

ah yes, i missrad that part. The only option to solve that is to give the Claymore the option for a better armor tank, because T2 are specialized ship and should not give bonus to mutiple link types.
Is it not possible to use the loki as an ongrid booster when you tank is armor? If not, then that might be a 3rd Solution, increase the tank on the loki when using the link subsystem.
so... how often have you probed an ECCM'ed T3 that only reveals itself somewhere in the system when combat occurs?
if the answer actually is >0 .... how often did you end up with a(n abandoned) frig instead 'cause you thought that weak signal strength must be the telltale sign?
if you still managed to actually find a bonus dispenser, was it in a pos?
and if you're still with this checklist, pray tell; how often have you successfully probed the guy while you still had a gang left to deliver the good news to?
bonus question: how often did a falcon jam you while your buddies were in warp to you?
I've probed more then 15 gang bonus giving ships outside the pos. Ive had a gang 15 times out of those 15 times. No falcons. But i do run full virtues.
Vulture
- 15% bonus to Medium Turret optimal range and 5% bonus to all shield resistances per level.
- 10% bonus to shield hitpoints per level, 3% bonus to effectiveness of Siege Warfare Links per level.
Claymore
- 5% bonus to Medium Projectile Turret rate of fire and 5% bonus to all shield resistances per level.
- 10% bonus to shield hitpoints per level and 3% bonus to effectiveness of Skirmish Warfare Links per level.
Eos
- 10% bonus to Medium Hybrid Turret damage and 5% bonus to all armor resistances per level.
- 10% bonus to armor hitpoints and 3% bonus to effectiveness of Information Warfare Links per level.
Also give T3s a secondary bonus on the Warfare Processor subsystem, perhaps 5% racial shield or armour HP per level to account for their smaller sig radius and mobility - to allow them to survive longer on grid. Optionally could also perhaps make it so that having the Warfare Processor subsystem fitted eliminates the SP loss upon ship death to account for their increased disposibility.
Thoughts? Terrible?
edit: 10% bonus hybrid damage on Eos might make it too strong solo.

It seems that skirmish links are considered so essential for a majority of engagements, on almost all terms of pvp. Has it been discussed changing the skirmish gang links to something else?
I'd think that would be a better fix. Although off-grid boosting is not acceptable in its current form, removing it'll create problems for rorqual/orca pilots, especially in W-Space if they have to be on-grid to deliver bonuses.
why not?
Edit:
You want skirmish and shield links to your fast shield tanked-gang: Bring a Claymore with skirmish links and optionally one with shield links.
You want skirmish and armor links to your AHAC-gang: Bring a couple of Eos (with resist bonus and increased speed) with Skirmish and Armor links.
Want a armor+ewar links to your Armor BS fleet: Bring a Damnation or two with what you need.
etc.
If you specialize the ships for different sets of gangs, there really is no reason to limit the links to one race. Then remove offgrid boosts, rebalance so that Tech 3s don't boost more than CS and get more tank with their command module, but remain racial.

So instead of replacing info links with something that is worth a fuck in fleet fights; you want to spread the bad out to infect the other command ships?
So why would anyone fit a shitty info link instead of more buffer? Or even a link that is not bonuses at all because it still would be more functional for the fleet fight? My point is shield, armor and skirmish bonuses serve a very functional role in a fleet where the difference can be felt by everyone in the fleet.
Why should I pick a bonus link to improve the damp strength of a couple guys in my fleet. Now if the info links were changed to say, drone related stuff (almost every ship in the game has a drone bay) that would be worth fitting like the other links are.
