Suddenly I'm feeling the pressure... Damn I almost managed to forget all about it.
Hiding something like that deep within a 165 page long minutes that you knew I'd read is fucking evil.

I just hope the peanut gallery of shitposters on EVEO won't start up too many whinethreads over stuff that is 6mo+ out and nowhere near finalized, discouraging CCP from such openness in the future.
It depends really what CCP's objectives are with lowsec, because sentries as they are sure as shit don't deter gatecamps. In fact quite the opposite - the more ships you throw in the less DPS each has to tank.
At least this proposal would create periods where the gates couldn't be camped by the usual suspects. As to whether this is a "good thing", or whether it would encourage people who might consider coming in when currently they don't (pro-carebears never will with the rewards/risk disparity that exists currently), remains to be seen.
The idea of increasing DPS allowing smaller ships to survive longer after an initial GCC is an interesting one though, would mean that small stuff could catch and possibly kill some stuff solo without having to be in BC or higher.
Would be interesting if it was actual players showing up to enforce the long arm of the law instead of super NPCs.

About time. I always thought mining could've been made into a better experience for those who didn't like the current system by having mining certain minerals require the coordination of multiple players.Continuing on other future matters, ring mining. The basic idea is that it would be a group PvE
activity that allows players to gather moon materials – in the spirit of talking about the future,
without it being decided or set in stone, CCP Soundwave included the word “replacing”, i.e. the idea
of moving moon-goo entirely to the ring mining venue. The argument for this statement is that
moons are basically ATMs, you plant down a structure and receive money, an awful gameplay
mechanic.
I'm slowly reading through these, summarizing the interesting bits and taking out some of the more interesting quotes. Sadly, when you're trying to summarize 165 pages of text, you still get a wall of text, even if you do skip on the boring parts.
I'll post it here later. About halfway through. :/
