something is wrong with my sleep cycle
Worst mouse i've ever used: Some microsoft thing I bought two years ago for too much money. They used some weird material that got grimey and gross in my hand after a few weeks and I literally threw it out after a month. On top of this, the wireless usb thingy had a range of about 4 feet, meaning the back of my computer was too far away. Hilarious shit, would never ever buy another microsoft mouse again as long as I live.
Current mouse: a very cheap logitech M300. It's simple and I like it. I want my mouse wheel to click when I spin it for switching weapons in games. I don't want to have to guess how far to spin it to swap between my knife and my 3rd weapon. My only complaint is that I think the resolution on the mouse is a bit low. Maybe i just suck but some aiming is harder than it should be.
In other news hotmail is now outlook.com and their UI is wonderful.

Also, use two mice: at work I use the R.A.T. 5 because I have to click a ton of links, and so the back and forward buttons, as well as the side-scroll really help. Plus, eases my carpel tunnel. Otherwise I've got a 2010 Razer Naga (which works better).
Fuck my triceps are sore and I'm going to the gym again. Once this job ends (and until my new one is found) I'll be going daily (for cardio mainly).
Confirming the Logitech freewheeling mice are awesome. I've got an Anywhere MX. Works on glass table tops, good weight, wireless, yada yada, me likey. Lazy day here, rebuilt a polyurethane injection head, read Manhattan in Reverse, applied some two part epoxy to some flanges. Still anxiously awaiting my luggage, c'mon Friday!
Right, so three of the four applications I put in this morning have already been rejected on account of lack of relevant work experience (not mentioned in the job description.) The recruiter told me not to expect good news about the fourth, but that it wasn't their department so they don't know for sure. n1
THE SEARCH CONTINUES! Go West, young man (literally; am now looking for jobs in Portland/Seattle areas.)
