Last night it rained a lot, and it's supposed to continue raining for most of the week. This isn't inherently bad of course, unless there's a leak in your roof. There isn't in mine (yet), but there was in the office next door this morning. Spent half the morning helping them clean up.

If you're going to rob a medieval festival, do it in the medieval spirit:

    Edit:
A gang of thieves dressed as knights and armed with a sword and an axe robbed the organisers of a medieval festival in north-east France and made off with 20,000 euros ($25,000), police said.

Thank you Jason for making a good Tuesday thread.

Today (still Monday for me)....some shitcunt employee brought her dog to work this morning, left it in her minivan to swelter in the 90 Freedom degree heat. Luckily our security patrol saw the saw dog early in the morning and alerted us to it. Pretty much told the shitcunt, get the dog home or you go home without pay. She made arrangements to have a relative pick up the dog. Now this shitcunt has 3 booster seats in this van for her kids. I wonder if she leaves her kids in the van as well....what a fucking piece of shit white trash cunt.

You would think that at age 28, I should move out of my parents' home. Currently, I'm interviewing for a job that may allow me the financial freedom to do just that.

    But...

Mother came into my room today and basically said that I should forget thinking about that for a while, due to a recent development (setback, actually) in her health. This is one of those things that can happen when you're nearing thirty and your parents didn't have you until they were almost forty. Do the math and it's not rosy.

Myeloma develops in 1–4 per 100,000 people per year. It is more common in men, and for unknown reasons is twice as common in African-Americans as it is in white Americans. With conventional treatment, median survival is 3–4 years, which may be extended to 5–7 years or longer with advanced treatments. Multiple myeloma is the second most common hematological malignancy in the U.S. (after non-Hodgkin lymphoma), and constitutes 1% of all cancers.
Hers is the non-secretory kind, which means blood tests are useless. They have to take samples from her hip.

Going for a date on Wednesday with possibly overly Christian girl. Will see how that goes.

I don't see what is so "wrong" with the company doing that, tbh. It's nothing different than what Google do and 99% of us just accept that.
Hello? Oh, hello! I'm sorry it's a very bad line. No, no no... but that's not possible, she was sealed in to the Seventh Obelisk after the prayer meeting. Well, no, I get that it's important... an Egyptian Goddess loose on the Orient Express. In Space. Give us a mo....

... don't worry about a thing, your Majesty; we're on our way.
