For complete afkness(you still need to move to the plex, but once you're on grid you're good), plug in your bot/script of choice for watching overview (but ignore local) and it'll warp you off to a safe when anything lands on grid, no matter what due to plex warpin ranges + the fact that you're stabbed.(You'd literally need a loki bonused arazu w/multiple faction points to have a chance at catching you before you warp off.)

Pays for itself in literally one major plex anyhoo, so it's relatively cheap considering.

GalMil broken FW plexs. Pretty much you orbit a plex button for 10+ min depending on size. Complete plex. Get LP. Cash out on day set by militia. Make iskies. Honestly all plexs are broken. We can moderately afk squid plexs but our set up is more expensive (then the standard plexing ship) and can't have stabs for sure.

I'm not sure how its that bad for u guys. The first FW I was in was gallente, years ago when they first came out. I used a very similar dramiel fit (more tank, no stabs) to tank lvl 4 missions for another char in a full gank bomber. I can't imagine plexes being THAT much harder than some of the lvl 4 missions tbh. Your speed should mitigate a lot of the missile dps, and your tank is quite solid either way. You could also modify this fit to run a 10mn AB (for even lower sig vs missiles).

In Amarr, we can fit a Tormentor for 300k ISK that will AFK major plexes. Ship types may vary depending on rat damage profile, but if you're having problems, you'redoingitwrong.

Im not saying we can't tank it easily. We just have to keep an eye on local/short scan without the stabs. The problem with missile damage is even if its only 6 damage there is a ton of it coming your ways and it never misses.

You could slap on a gist-b type small shield booster (should be stable with some rigs, for more actual tank).

I knew there was afk mining but is there really a program like this?

Yes there are several programs like this, and one of the most common bots, with a bit of scripting/hacking(the true definition of hacking, not the definition everyone thinks of) can easily do this.

Would I suggest it? No.
Do I do it? No.
Are there other people doing it? Probably.

I consider it one of my Rules of Eve, Rule #2 actually - If it can be done ingame, there is a bot capable of doing it. (Also, some bots are actually legal within the EULA, I helped create a "bot" with a m8 of mine that gave us live intel across an entire area of space.

(We also created a market "bot" that gave did lots of the thinking work for us - we just had to move stuff from point a to point b, "bot" told us what to move, when our orders were low, when we got outbid, etc etc.) As long as the gameplay itself isn't automated, generally speaking it's all legal, and it can give you a HUGE advantage :P (The :Sphere: that PL is commonly accused of sploiting with is actually quite similar for most of it's queries).

In response to your earlier "gistii b-type" thing, you can in fact get a better tank by dropping WCS for more SPRs (same with rig). Really no point active tanking it.

I use a t1 fitted punisher for AFK farming fw plexes but i actually have to watch local/scan which means i can only jerk off with one hand.
