as i'd just been randomly roaming around clearings to find heli spawns, i hadn't been paying attention to where i was... so all we had to triangulate my position was this screenshot:

Tonight was a cluster fuck of epic proportions, I'll leave it to someone else to write up but overall -1 chopper, -1 atv, -1 gaz, someone ejected from a chopper and someone else died while "testing body shots".

By the way, the hilux model was replaced by the datsun model with this server.
I might swap the models because, i love hilux's and it just looks better but IDK.
Appears the vehicles I added today didn't spawn either (NBS) so I'm going to add them into the database manually tomorrow.

What do you guys think about taking the PW off the server?
Note that while it lets in the pubby swarm, it also let's in the script kiddies. The database is a whore to replace inventories so I might just discontinue that and mark it up as something that comes without having a password.
Thoughts, opinions?

The more I think about it, the servers been getting busier the last 48 hours so I'll give it another 2-3 days and if it keeps busyish I'll keep the pw.
Having 15-20 people online that aren't hackers is a million times better than having 50 pubs on with a dirty genepool, at least IMO.
I wouldn't mind some more targets, even if occasionally they might drop a battleship in the middle of electro.
As readers of this thread will know, lark decided to ram our chopper into a forest next to where I and amantus was standing, killing us all.
After today's server restart thorton stumbled upon an ATV that he flipped yesterday which was then launched into low earth orbit by my GAZ. It obviously died from the fall, but now it was back among the living (temporarily at least). It didn't take long for us to realize that maybe the chopper had been reanimated as well. We raced over to our camp and there the chopper was, alive and kicking, it even had fuel. The only problem was that since lark crashed it into a god damn forest it was surrounded by trees on all sides, and obviously the rotor blades have collision making getting the chopper out of there a tricky thing.
The other day amantus had found a really beat up bus down in Polana and I figured that if we could get the bus repaired then maybe we could use it to crash into the trees and get them to fall over, clearing the way for the chopper. A long shot, but still worth attempting. We still had quite a few wheels and assorted car parts from farming the Polana factory the other night. They were in the GAZ which stoffl and lark were driving around in. Because it's Friday lark is of course completely wasted, and minutes after I ask them to come to Polana he flips the fucking GAZ on its side, right on the road. Seriously, wtf? The power of drunk-lark is great.
Eventually we get most of the parts for the bus, it's in drivable condition, but to be able to use it for tree ramming we needed to get the bus fully repaired. My theory was that if a vehicle got fully repaired and fuelled then it would turn magic and repair itself automatically. The last part we needed was the elusive 'engine parts' item. We checked two dozen different industrial spawns for it and farmed the factory for a good hour but couldn't get one. All of a sudden bent's group, which was farming for jerry cans for their own reanimated chopper, finds one all the way down in Komarovo. We agree to trade some jerry cans for it.
The trip down there isn't exactly smooth, first amantus crashes the blue van and then stoffl flips the ATV. We do eventually get the things we need though and set off for our camp. The trip there takes close to an hour. It's been about five hours since we hatched the plan and we're about to see if it'll actually work, or if we'll just get the chopper blown up. I admit I was a bit nervous.
With some MLG PRO DRIVING 420 amantus takes down the first tree cleanly:
He actually takes down all the other trees as well (the smoke is marking the tree for death).
Amazingly we get the chopper out of there, but when we go to refuel amantus ejects from the chopper by mistake and his body randomly disappears with an AS50 and Mk 48.
