Just had my most brown pants moment in dayz.
Was mincing around in cherno and hopping between some sniping spots.
Heard a revolver shot somewhere close, and couldn't see any zombies moving and no signs of any people. I give it 2-3 minutes before I hear footsteps and now I'm sure I'm being hunted. I get prone, but my back to a wall to make sure someone doesn't snipe me and I watch the ladder with my m14 out. The footsteps stop, start and then it's silence. By now I can't decide whether he's left or is about to come up the ladder. I stay sat and lo and behold, up comes a body.
I completely panicfire and wing him once in the leg, he drops and rolls out of my view. I take the chance to swap to m1911 and go in to finish him off, but he's got his ak pointed straight at me. I poke out and bullets come flying at me. I do it twice and figure he's gotta be low in that mag, so I lean out again for the kill. Turns out he had enough bullets to finish me off. We both die. GF cuntface, or whatever your name was. Dickface?
Anyways, in the meantime we both respawn. I get cherno docks and book it straight back to where we died. I loot all the shit off my body and hide it, then take some food of his body and figure if anyone else is in cherno that it's only a matter of time. I'm midway down the ladder when a newbie comes running up the steps. I leave him live, he has nothing I need. I make my way out of cherno and abort, fuckin hell.
Jokes on him, I hid his body too.

Yeah just bump around in electro on the main hive racking up m14/akm kills and try again later
I'm getting kicked now before I can even get the slotting screen, and my game crashes.
Fixed it, just had to reinstall beta vOv.
