Like you mean Drealar and I?
We can pretty much do anything we want, but we try not to do anything that would give us an advantage in any way.
For example can you fuck around with spawn lists for weapons and shit?
We have complete access obviously and we do database backups every now and again incase people hack/break the server.
I know what you mean and no, we haven't spawned anything illegitimate into the server. The only things i've done with the DB are move myself when I spawned under a tree (welp) and on server restarts (before i removed the choppers) I'd spawn myself on the chopper spawns and blow them up.
Never thought of that, but tbh nahhh. There's enough in the game already without confusing people by adding new stuff. I also have no idea how it would work regarding the spawning/ammo etc.![]()
Did the M1911 get nerfed from one shot kill since last I played? Shot the same zombie like 5 times and then got punched in the face >.>
Yeah, there's been some large weapon nerfs that come from the ARMA2 engine.

So, just so we're clear for the benefit of other people using this server, logging out when in trouble/knocked down by zombies and waiting for bros to get in position to clear them out for you is cool, just logging out on players is a no no?![]()
Correct, do whatever you want in PVE just don't be a baby with other players.
Fuck zombies, IDC what you do with them.
Part of the reason the private hive server was set up was to stop people abusing alt-f4. There is nothing more maddening than stalking someone for a time, or going to the effort of getting into a position and the second you shoot someone, the corpse disappears or worse still, the player doesn't die and logs out. At least with the private hive if he logs while hurt, the person shooting him can just wait for him to log in. If the person that logged out is taking his sweet ass time, the shooter can always report the logout and the time as accurate as they can and we can check logs for who logged out. We can then cross that with the position of the shooter and if they match, banhammer.
For example,
Player A is stalking Player B in starry sober and follows him to the military tents. He takes up a position watching the entrance of the tents and when Player B emerges, Player A shoots him. *IF* Player B logs off, Player A can just post here with the approximate time and where it happened. We can then find Player B in the logs and even if Player C, Player D and Player E log off in cherno/wherever around the same time, we can be almost 100% certain we'll have the right person. It's most definitely a clunky workaround and will never be truly 100% accurate but it's the best we can do until Rocket implements a permanent fix.
Yes, only for a few minutes!
I'm upping playerlimit to 50 and raising vehicles to 52, the max!
ETA 5 minutes!
EDIT: ALL DONE!
Scheduler, playercount and vehicle limit all fixed!
Tomorrow, I'm going to re-introduce choppers!
ULTRAEDIT:
I got to thinking about the amount of AKM's dropping and I came upon this.
Interesting tidbit for everyone. EVER wonder why you see so many AKM's drop? Rocket fucked the code...
Here's the loot objects for standard military (soo everything military but barracks and heli)
itemType[] = {{"M9", "weapon"}, {M16A2, "weapon"}, {M16A2GL, "weapon"}, {M9SD, "weapon"}, {AK_47_M, "weapon"}, {AK_74, "weapon"}, {"M4A1_Aim", "weapon"}, {"AKS_74_kobra", "weapon"}, {AKS_74_U, "weapon"}, {AK_47_M, "weapon"}, {M24, "weapon"}, {M1014, "weapon"}, {DMR, "weapon"}, {M4A1, "weapon"}, {M14_EP1, "weapon"}, {UZI_EP1, "weapon"}, {"Remington870_lamp", "weapon"}, {"glock17_EP1", "weapon"}, {MP5A5, "weapon"}, {MP5SD, "weapon"}, {M4A3_CCO_EP1, "weapon"}, {"Binocular", "weapon"}, {"ItemFlashlightRed", "military"}, {"ItemKnife", "military"}, {"ItemGPS", "weapon"}, {"ItemMap", "military"}, {"DZ_Assault_Pack_EP1", "object"}, {"DZ_Patrol_Pack_EP1", "object"}, {"DZ_Backpack_EP1", "object"}, {"", "medical"}, {"", "generic"}, {"", "military"}, {"ItemEtool", "weapon"}, {"ItemSandbag", "magazine"}};
And here is the one for military specialness (barracks)...
itemType[] = {{M16A2, "weapon"}, {M16A2GL, "weapon"}, {M249_DZ, "weapon"}, {M9SD, "weapon"}, {M136, "weapon"}, {AK_47_M, "weapon"}, {AK_74, "weapon"}, {"M4A1_Aim", "weapon"}, {"AKS_74_kobra", "weapon"}, {AKS_74_U, "weapon"}, {AK_47_M, "weapon"}, {M24, "weapon"}, {SVD_CAMO, "weapon"}, {M1014, "weapon"}, {M107_DZ, "weapon"}, {DMR, "weapon"}, {M4A1, "weapon"}, {M14_EP1, "weapon"}, {UZI_EP1, "weapon"}, {"Remington870_lamp", "weapon"}, {"glock17_EP1", "weapon"}, {M240_DZ, "weapon"}, {"M4A1_AIM_SD_camo", "weapon"}, {M16A4_ACG, "weapon"}, {"M4A1_HWS_GL_camo", "weapon"}, {"Mk_48_DZ", "weapon"}, {M4A3_CCO_EP1, "weapon"}, {"AmmoBoxSmall_556", "object"}, {"AmmoBoxSmall_762", "object"}, {"NVGoggles", "weapon"}, {"Binocular", "weapon"}, {"ItemFlashlightRed", "military"}, {"ItemKnife", "military"}, {"ItemGPS", "weapon"}, {"ItemMap", "military"}, {"Binocular_Vector", "military"}, {"DZ_Assault_Pack_EP1", "object"}, {"DZ_Patrol_Pack_EP1", "object"}, {"DZ_Backpack_EP1", "object"}, {"", "medical"}, {"", "generic"}, {"", "military"}, {"PipeBomb", "magazine"}};
Notice what I bolded...
Yes...there are TWO sets of AKM's (AK_47_M = AKM) in each. The spawn chance for the standard military is 0.2 for the first and 0.05 for the second while its 0.2 and 0.1 for special military.

Have so much STANAG Ammo now that I farmed stary. Need to get something better than the M16A2 though.
Oopsey doodle, MYSQL wasn't loading properly.
Rebooted and fixed it.
