It's the day before payday and i'm broke as a former boyband member. Not quite eating the bits out of the bottom of the frosties box broke but close.
Girlfriend has the painters in so it's no sex and arguments for three days (inb4 stick it in her pooper) and my work has to double from 40 people to 80 in a week when we can't hire anyone. We've tried to get 14 for three weeks and so far have got 4 one of which didn't turn up after the first day. FML.
Sometimes I wish I could skip forward three days but I'd rather eat a bag of dicks than get any older.
Strangely enough however I'm actually really happy at the moment.

Saw Jack White live at Festival Hall in Melbourne last night. Was awesome. He played a wide variety of his music a couple of White Stripes songs, at least 2 Dead Weather, at least 1 Raconteurs song (well only 1 I recognised), plus nearly 2/3rds of his new solo album and a Hank Williams song. He closed out with Seven Nations Army and the place went crazy. Got totally drenched walking to my car but I didn't care.

Wednesday night here. Forgot that I had agreed to play poker at friends house tonight as a kind of goodbye to another that is moving to Astoria. Was in the middle of delicious cast iron cooked chicken legs, so although I'm late, there is tasty food to come back to.
The shortest way to friends house is a three-bus-connection clusterfuck, so I skipped the first bus and jogged, which would cut down the travel time had I not narrowly missed the bus... Oh well
Must make sure to not drunkenly order food at friends.

I need to use my car today. Dirk Magnum afficianados may recall my Sunday Thread post re: dead car battery. I will be spending some time in the blessed Florida summer heat waiting for someone to walk by and offer their battery for a jump. Failing that I'll be calling my insurance folks because they offer 24-hour roadside service. Also the guy they sent out last time looked just like Simon Pegg which was pretty cool
