Faaaaack.
The uni I applied to (which accepted me months ago) has wrote to me today to tell me that they've decided not to run the course after all. This pretty decently fucks me over.

Checking my email, I discover yet another person who can't differentiate between a biotechnology undergraduate in Australia (me) and a distinguished research scientist in France.
Another person who also sent me confidential, personal information I am now deleting from my account after I inform them that no, that gentleman doesn't use this email address.
Not that anybody ever says thanks.
Useless pricks.
I may possibly be going back to the gym today. Not been for about a year, so expecting paaaaaaiiiinnnnn.
I got rained on, during a drought, for the second time in as many weeks. Is that some sort of ~sign~ or do I just need to stop forgetting my umbrella?
First lawsuit filed for the colorado shooting: http://gawker.com/5928633/aurora-sho...for-negligence
Seeing as he is suing nearly everyone else, I wonder if he will add the manufacturer of the shooter's truck.
That'd be impressive, since he only used a white sedan, as far as I saw.
EDIT: while I'm sympathetic towards the trauma he may have suffered and while I agree that the doors should have been alarmed and monitored, I hope the Judge (or Jury?) orders settlement to be a Season Pass.
Think of them as "alternate showers"?

Go to town to watch batman, get here to find they're showing ghostbusters for free in the middle of the street.
I'm ok with this.

Funny thing I learned today: stretching before a workout or exercise is bad. Advised thing to do? Warm ups like lunges, or pushups, etc.
Apparently the motion of stretching out your muscles causes fatigue and makes them more tired.
Today, it's sunny on this side of the city. Going to hope for sun on the way back, will be disappointed.
Finished my last day of work prior to a nice 3 week holiday touring Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Spending a week in a grass covered hut near Stavanger and continuously scouting to ensure no sign of Toxic is seen.
Oh, and the trip will end with a weekend visit to Legoland Billund. Lego, fuck yeah.

He's claiming negligence of, well, everyone, and that it caused him extreme trauma. I would assume he can make the case. Whether he'll succeed is another thing though. I doubt it'll be thrown out as frivolous, but depending how the case is made, he may be told that it is pretty tasteless to try to cash in on a tragedy he escaped rather lightly from ...
