i'm curious, were you range or tracking disrupting with your TD's (on the vargurs). i wouldn't have thought a TD'd vargur could apply much damage to an [AB?] scimitar.

I think by now HUN are stuck playing a "I know that you know that I know" ad infinitum brainfuck over whether the enemy will bring some hard counter for their Vargur setup and them bringing a different one.

Considering their vargurs have been ASB'd through the tournament the best counters would be ewar to ruin their weapons or damps? Not just the fits but they've had good piloting by their crew as well.

With hindsight i think they (correctly) assumed they'd steamroller us, so didn't bother bringing anything new.

Part of the gamble on our part was to kill their tackle on the way in and kite them out with optimal TDs, but plans only last until first contact with the enemy and

when i heard snake finally announce he was going to make good on his threat to fly out of the arena i just stopped clicking and let them kill me (he'd been telling us all we were beaten and there was no way we could win for a good hour before the match, the man is truly a master of motivation )

Was fun to be honest, the whole thing.
Still sucked ass being knocked out but still GG to everyone involved. Still a bit bitter with verge that they shat all over our game when we'd agreed to a straight up brawl but whatever.
Time to get practising for next year I suppose.
