Since we have the aircraft thread and the tank thread here's the ship thread.


USS Texas. A dreadnought battleship from 1912.


KMS Admiral Graf Spee. A German "pocket battleship".


SMS Konig. Imperial German dreadnought and flagship of the High Seas Fleet.


Russian pre-dreadnought Oryol, was captured by the Japanese and renamed Iwami during the Russo-Japanese war.


And of course the HMS Dreadnought, possibly the most important ship in the most important era for naval power.


In case you haven't noticed I like the style of the dreadnought era ships.

I like the Yamato. Even though the Japanese didn't really do anything with it and it was basically rendered useless, it still looked cool as shit.
