Sink Kuznetsov, reclassify it as a submarine aircraft carrier. Problem solved.
I think those are called Typhoons already.
Tuphoons, ironically, also needed the PD-50 drydock to get serviced.

So Russian Navy is back to Peter I level, only capable of challenging countries like Sweden.

Funfact: the drydock was built in Sweden.

Doesn't matter who or where it's built, if you don't maintain it properly.

And I'm way better than these IKEA designers, I can assemble their stuffs with less nails and screws.

Seems like the Norwegian navy accidentally a 500m USD frigate.

    It collided with a supertanker.

It might keel over any minute, watch it live here:

It's just an Aframax. No supers in this part of the world.
But still, the mass difference between them is astronomical since its fully laden.

That little tow boat rammed it during towing attempt, and significantly worsened the situation.

    Update..20min later.

Generally yes, we do make an exception for the navy though.

This wouldn't have happened if it had a sail and a bank of oars.

You see a beached ship and I see OUTSTANDING seamanship, quick thinking and audacious maneuvers to save their ship.
The investigation will determine the who did what's, why's and how to prevent it in the future, but for now marvel at the bravery and determination of this crew.

As it was returning from a mission/exercise in Trident Juncture.
It is normal to run with transponders off.
After the collision, it gets auto activated.

The tanker that hit the frigate was under tow from dock and the place of impact indicates that the frigate should have given way to the tanker. It's also a lot harder to maneuver a fully loaded tanker of this size than a small frigate. Everything indicates that the frigate fucked up big time.

Frigate also instantly lost propulsion and steering. It drifted ashore.
Currently it's resting on the sea bottom.
