Yeah! But I'm going to a conference, and being sent by work. And that's a reward and that's good. Although having to up for 5am, walking to the train, walking across Dublin, spending all day in some shitty business centre, getting back across Dublin on a Friday night during rush hour, and getting back to Cork probably four hours later seems more like a punishment.

My 15 minutes of hell started when I went down to the kitchen barefoot and trod on one. I can still feel the exact spot where I was violated.
I figured I may as well put the bin bag out while I was down there. So I go outside and waiting for me on top of the bin lid, five of them, hanging around like a band of chavs, still deciding whether to mug me or get me to buy them a bottle of White Lightning. I take the lid off and fling it to the floor in disgust. I look inside and to my dismay there's another one just inside the rim. This shit ain't funny. There is now a thick line of salt running across the bottom of the backdoor. Fortunately I have found out that salt also wards off evil spirits so I can explain away my 'waste' of salt to sane people.
