I need some Eve-lawyer advice

So I just stole a load of stuff from some terrible corp, but that is not the point of the thread. Basically I have a character still in the corp/alliance and they are mouthing off in alliance chat. Going on about that they have my passwords etc. They are going to do this and do that blah blah blah. I'm wondering is this something that I should be concerned about? Should I report this. I don't want to get them banned and think all of this is just HERO TALK, but I'm still a little worried. I'm going to change my passwords straight away, but I have never done anything to compromise myself. API's (which are now deactivated) is all I gave them.

Thoughts?

Yeah surely if you've managed to change your game account password, the only risk is socially engineered/derped passwords from forums/email accounts, or lol trojan horse via corp-specific local app.

This is what I did the one time someone I robbed in-game threatened to come to my house. The best part of the entire thing was watching him simmer for months afterward because I got him a two week ban for that.

Eh? Even if the password is hashed you could break it, if you know what you are doing and since he has the salt that doesn't come in affect.

I highly doubt that, unless you're going to do brute force hash comparing which would take for fucking ever on any password that's even remotely strong. Also that does not count as breaking encryption.

Assuming you're not a retard and don't use the same password for everything, then nope. Make sure you change your passwords anyway just in case.

You do want to get them banned. People who spurge over stuff like this and make threats they can't make good on need to be taught a lesson.

Bellum Eternus and I once killed a guy 3 times I think trying to come into Decon. He finally threatened to find us in real life and do bad things to us. Bellum, being my all time favorite libertarian weapons connoisseur actually game him his address and said come get me.

The guy did get a 2 week ban for his troubles too.

Just a thought, but if they haven't rumbled the character you still have in corp/alliance, build up trust again with that character and wait till they rebuild their assets and clean them out all over again.
