Cheers to Destoration, who first advised to buy them, will let you know how it goes!
I've only used those speakers indoors and even at low volume they fucking blew your eardrums out. So I think it'll do for a pool party :P Good luck and have fun!

btw make sure the volume is at zero whenever you plug shit into the mixer....usually a given but it can blow those speakers out with the pops :S

    oh and send pics!!!!!

I wish you a great time.

    One other technical memo:

    Power up:

    1) Turn on the mixer and any ipods, cd players, etc, first. Make sure they are not playing music and pull down all the faders on the mixer.
    2) Turn on the speakers.
    3) Play a source. Slowly bring up the fader on the mixer channel it's connected to. Adjust volume to taste. One note, if the mixer has a level indicator, keep it out of the red. Turn up the speakers, not the mixer.

When you want to swap music sources, plug the other one into the other music channel, while it is at zero (at the bottom). Bring down the source you want to end by bringing down the fader. Bring up the source you want to swap to by bringing up the fader.

    Power down:

Turn off the speakers first!!!! This is important.

The rest doesn't matter after this step.

    Have fun with your party.
    meh

When you say "Turn up the speakers, not the mixer" do you mean if we want to adjust the volume during use (e.g. queiter in the morning, loud at night, or if a great tune comes on) we need to use the individual volume controls on each speaker? Surely the whole point of the mixer is you can use it to control overall volume?

Or did you just mean during initial calibration, in which case I get it.

Initial calibration. The point is to leave some headroom on the mixer (or it will sound shit).
