I'm a bit disappointed we didn't get to show off the cool parts of our setup, because it was more different than it looked like.

So, a few days ago Kyrieee theory crafted this Nulli setup (Nulli=So retarded it just might work) with XLASB Tengus which got fed cap only from a Basilisk (no shield reps on the Basi).
So our team:
3 Tengus
1 Basi
1 Vulture
4 Harpies
Hookbill
2x Vigils
The plan:
We'd all warp in at 50km as a oner, at go time the hookbill would fuck off and whizz around to damp the hostile logi. The vigils would buzz around and TP the primaries. We hoped hostile tackle would burn to us, eager to get a tackle on what they would assume were kiting Tengus and be unable to get repped. Once that was down we reckoned we'd be able to dominate everything else.
Unfortunately no plan survives first contact with the enemy.
Pong warped in at 0 (loool) and the enemy team consisted of mainly drone boats, thus meaning we'd wasted a mid on all our harpies. But whatever. Go time and everything started burning towards us and we plowed through some tackle. ry ry's basilisk got primaried pretty quick. He should have been able to tank the hostile DPS but we didn't count on the number of neuts from the Gilas and, critically the fact that they were mediums. With the short cycle time ry ry was kept pretty well drained and was unable to get enough cap from Snake's Vulture (I felt a bit of a rectal twitch when Snake said he was overloading his transfers). Meanwhile we were shooting a hostile Gila. ry ry popped and a little after we popped the gila. We blapped another sabre and went to work on the hostile Basilisk. He went down, we blapped the last bit of hostile support and went to work on another Gila, meanwhile we'd lost the last of our harpies. I started taking fire. Having anticipated this (LOL SHOOT THE FC!!!!!111) I'd been placed in a tankier Tengu fit. With no tackle on me I could have burnt away but my cap got alphad and pretty much kept down. I kept my booster running and overloaded my launchers. I went down but the combined DPS from two Gila's and a Tengu wasn't enough to wear out the boosters of the next chap who was primaried.
I lost SP from Navigation, so NBD.
Gf Goons. I watched the match later on. Zastrow was pretty buttsore, sorry bro.

So basically double crossing a cross from a possible counter-cross plus Basi bait. Well played, seriously, this isn't retarded but pure genius, getting the bittervet mode out of the way. [/captain obvious] To be honest everybody including the commentators was fooled, most people assumed that Basi was supposed to rep something, even after noticing the cap xfer with the Vulture and still no shield transfer on.
Seriously tempted to invest in that IPO but can't login till Monday because of anal internet connection.
