Tested a bit.

E50m has much better front hull armor then e50 , and it is better then any other tier10 med. Turret armor on t62 is better ofc
Sides on t62 pretty much t54 ... or papper. Surprisingly even on test server E50m bounces shells from t62.E50m best armored in the tier10 mediums compartment.

I am not impresed by the t62 firepower btw. Similar case of t54. Its mobility is great tho.

Front is more sloped it is lower turns better then e50. Gun is insane ofc.

Why is t62 weak? On paper it has excellent dpm, good accuracy and aiming time. And that in small hull with heavy armored turret for hull down sniping?

I didnt say T62 is weak tank. Just that hull armor seams as good as T54... that means not so strong. Turret armor i didnt penetrate from long range still. Realistically it is only improvement in terms of protection over T54. Sides and rear are papper thin and not sloped , same like on T54. That means very weak.

DPM of T62 is nice in papper. However it is same sindrome like on T54. It does less damage then patton and E50 gun and tends to bounce.
I dont joke even on test server i am bouncing T62 shots from my front.

Turret front armor is nice yes but it is not good hull down sniper for the same reason that T54 is not. It is too small and lacks gun depression. That is job for patton.

Main thing of T62 so far that i have seen is huge improvement in mobility. Secondary is its improvement in firepower. Protection improvement is not so big. Its same philosphy that t54 was.

As i said on paper its gun looks nice but in practice i think both patton and e50m have better guns ( as someone pointed out accuracy and shell speed of apcr shells on e50m is just ridiculously good ).

btw it would be nice that they buff lower plate on e100 to ~200 now. That would make sense along the side of this "rebalance" as they call it.

T62's aren't really that scary. M48 really needs offroad driving and some high octane fuel to make it run anything decent. Snap shot and smooth ride will enhance the good accuracy on the move. It still is not fast, nor durable, but it'll be like the smaller brother of the M103 with improved accuracy and a bit more speed.

JpE-100 platoons are the shit. Pick a nice long lane of fire and line up, doubletap *anything* that shows its face. Proceed to slowly and inexorably move forward. Faced three of them so far. Just brutal.

Despite the snowplow looks the ruski TD doesn't bounce much, if anything at all. Germanic phallus symbol will last quite a bit longer. Earler one of them hid behind a bush @130m. Hadn't occured before.

My first impressions:

Tier-X TD's introduce a whole new level of gameplay to Tier-X. Armor hardly matters anymore in the highest tiers as these things will pen anyway and take 1/3rd or even 1/2 of your HP in a single hit.
The former "wow mighty" T30 gun is such a joke vs the PAK46. Even the new U.S. 300pen version of the T30 gun is a joke in comparison. I am a T30 driver and after playing the T110 TD i would still much rather start a grind to the JPZ-E100 over doing just that one level, this tank is so brutal.

@Ralara: If you want a free extra garage slot, you should buy AMX 12t and (this is the important part) fill all your garage slots. Buy a shit ton of T1 Cunningham's for all I care, but unless your slots are filled, you won't get a free slot, but an open slot will be used for the new tier 5 French light.

It doesn't have a turret, the gun is fixed. The E4 is the turreted TD version, and the E5 the tank version.

The E3 is the one with Turret, the E4 has 300 something upper Hull aka Turret Armor, lower Hull is "stronger than T110E5" strong. It is one of the vehicles with the best frontal protection in the game because it does not have any big weakspots.

Why don't they make the coaxial 75mm gun on the E-100 and Maus functional? Big guns for big targets, little gun for scouts and spam damage. It's basically a pak 40 with lower muzzle velocity, so in between 128/150mm rounds you could spam weak spots on the target with the small gun.

Seems with the nerfy shit they did to those tanks it would make sense, even with a reduced MM spread and lack of truly small targets.

edit: and that Super Pershing turret looks awfully vulnerable for the tiers it'll be facing, no?
