Recruiters in the future can you please state in the job description if having a car is a necessity. Had an interview over skype for some temp work only to find out that I would need to go to the depot to pick up gear for the job so i'm almost certain not to get it. Purchased a KFC Double for lunch today, at the insistence of some friends. It was okay, but I wouldn't rave over it. I'd rather buy a whole Mc Donalds meal for about the same price point. It was $8, which is a bit of a take, imo.
In shed news, the shed I've been considering buying (here) seems to retail for a little over $1200 AUD online. Although, since they're Australian websites I assume they have some ridiculous mark-up applied, since I've found that most Australian e-businesses tend to try to fleece you.
I mean, a bigger shed (also a kit) costs about $800, but then I'd have to put down a concrete slab, which is more money. Plus I'd have to cut & install windows after-market, more money again. I didn't want to spend more than $1000 on this project, which I thought was a fairly realistic budget for what is essentially a box.
At this point I'm tempted to find a couple cardboard refrigerator boxes, staple them together into a structure the same size and lacquer them against the weather.
