    WTB Adobe Illustrator Skills!

    Hey guys,

Im putting together some models for a science essay Im writing about small circular pieces of DNA and have realised that Im terribad with this program.

I would like to have some professional looking AI images of the different types of plasmid form.

The below image contains hand drawn versions that I scanned in but that won't cut it for this article. I will pay someone 200mill to make them look professional in AI.

here are some similar versions from the scientific press:
      Spoiler:

I will pay a bonus 200mill if you can make them look like they are made of DNA. In my drawing above I have used simple black lines, but the line represents DNA so it should look like:

Finally, there is an extra 100mill bonus prize (for a total of 500m) if you can make them using an actual DNA pattern:

(ie in the cartoon above this one, the blue and pink lines are each a dna strand)

Thanks and if I havent been clear, pls let me know!

That with an "actual DNA pattern" could be done pretty easily in Autodesk 3DsMax (which is available as free student version, however if you have issues with AI never even try to use that, it is 10 times worse).

Do not look at me, though, because:
    - I developed an intense disliking of 3DsMax
    - I have currently no time anyway
    - I do not play Eve anymore

If you haven't found anyone by the weekend and I am bored I might be motivated enough to do an AI version of your drawing as they are in the spoiler for free, though. That's a 15 Minute job. But don't expect fancy shadows and/or gloss effects. Those are possible in theory, but AI is really the wrong tool for that. You have to draw them there by "feeling" while in 3dsMax you can just calculate them.

Thanks for the response Aram - relooking at the 3d thingy, that is quite fancy with all the shadows and what not. What I meant to be more exact is to have the dna double helix instead of a double/single line like that seen on the right side of this picture:

Doesnt need all the fancy shadows/3d effects at all. Basically like this picture above but better quality!!

    Thanks again!
