I hope they keep the option to exterminate a population in Rome 2, It was the best option to choose while conquering places Ive seen in any total war game. fuckers cant riot if they are dead and if they do, let them retake the city and repeat the process. It was fun being evil in that game.

legions can gain themselves traits and build themselves reputations (if i read it correctly) and history, which again helps immersion

this sounds really cool, especially since its rather close to history aswell, as in each legion was separate regiment with its own history and whatnot. "Romans were the first to discover the motivational power of a soldiers loyalty to a unit, that bore its own insignia, history and traditions".
