Current job: Occasionally epic with patches of drama spreading from the west. Perceived job security, variable becoming poor.

New job: Pay easterly or southeasterly, 3 or 4, rising to 6 later. Fair commute with stress becoming slight, chance of Kylie developing later.

Second job tbh. More pay, less drama, less stress, better location, and ability to do S&M while on the job.
What more do you want really.

Spend the extra money you make on meth.

Will make the new job far more intresting, unstable and filled with drama.

Your posting is medium, its not rare and its not well done

This. New job is more $ and more time to support your growing family, along with less stress. Also sounds more reliable. Film is pretty volitile. My friend spent a lot of time couch surfing since the work came in spurts. One week they need you 20 hours a day, the next you are waiting for the next paying project.

the salary difference can be compensated for job satisfaction. The one thing you just have to use as the deciding factor is how your health will cope.

Personally, I can't take stress anymore. I just shut down and do the bare minimum. Having spent myself totally in the past I'd stay the FUCK away from a job that forces you to abide by the whims and wishes of people not in full understanding of real life.

    That's just me tho.

I remember how frustrated you were by your previous underlings and co-workers... do you really think you can stand that to the extreme? Seems like that's what you'll be in for. On the other hand, I'll assume you now get a "mission" or "client portfolio" to deal with and it's up to you to make sure the demands are met as perfectly as can be. If the pressure you'll be under is mostly coming from the clients list of demands, maybe you can stand it.

But the 2nd option sounds quite a lot better. The reflected glory of A-list stars have never been of any interest to me and I am unimpressed by the fools who slink around their skirts for scraps of affection. I have a hard time connection HS with this....

What's the prospect for advancement in either job? Any opportunity for personal development or growth in skills?

Why not apply for the new job and use the offer as leverage at your current job for better pay and conditions?

Take whatever job will result in the highest amount of amusing posts on failheap tbh.

And as it seems you actually take that NDA stuff somewhat seriously and havent posted about any of the possibly amusing stories you collected at your current job i say make the switch.

the right thing to do is take the 2nd job and write a book about the 1st, then as you have become famous hire the person who replaced you in the 1st and thus have both also you can now shag Kylie the old hag, bonus if you do her sister too

The Chippewa believed that the weasel could kill the dreaded wendigo giant by rushing up its anus.

What use is High Sierra's job to the denizens of FHC if he has to sign an NDA and can't tell us about it?

I for one miss his tales of the Chav Army.

    1) Make a Pro and Con list, list everything from stress to rewards to prospects of advancement and stability
    2) If not sure, do the coin flip.

I guess it depends on the level of :responsibility: you need or want. If youre married/kids/house etc, the job with more security is probably the better option. If youre unattached, live a little, get some cool dirt and take Tekai's advice and write a book dishing on the celebrity culture.

I want to know what you do for these over-indulgent nobs. Are you the guy who has to get Cold Stone for Brad Pitt at a moments notice even though hes in fucking Liverpool?

Go for the job interview. Maybe you won't get the job and then you won't have to worry about making a decision.
