Woke up this morning to see the dog & cat sitting by my bed, waiting patiently for me to wake up & feed them. Damn animals.

Went and saw Snow White & The Huntsman at a cinema with friends, was that the chick from the Twilight movies? She can't act very well. Otherwise, it was alright.

    Now, pizza. Sunday is alright.

Hello? Oh, hello! I'm sorry it's a very bad line. No, no no... but that's not possible, she was sealed in to the Seventh Obelisk after the prayer meeting. Well, no, I get that it's important... an Egyptian Goddess loose on the Orient Express. In Space. Give us a mo....

We live in the future, not far now until someone decides that prosthetic arms are preferable to fleshy ones.
I'm still waiting for stem cells to progress enough to fix nerve damage
From what i know the main problem with that is the mylein sheet. It grows faster then the neuron and it prevents its regeneration.

Is it possible they were waiting to see if you would wake up.

I bought a small kitchen scale so I can mess around with proper water/coffee ratios in french press

but now its telling me I've been completely wrong for years. I'm suspecting the "4 cup" setting on my grinder is really inaccurate.

Worked out yesterday. Nothing to do today really except spin my ships and work on getting applications to scholarships since I'm paranoid about the GI bill not covering for out-of-state tuition when I return to college.

And going to be sippin' Rumple Minze because I can't stand tequila straight.

Hello FHC. Sunday cranky Sunday here.

My Sunday morning consisted of a slightly madcap roundup of six donkey escapees after Mr Mynxee left a gate open. I'll spare you the details but suffice to say that people are fucking clueless about their impact on the flight response of small prey animals and that just made things not only more difficult but also a potential disaster when the donkeys freaked out and started heading for the road. After I roared for tenant, hyper tenant's child, and Mr. Mynxee to step the fuck off, I was finally able to convince the small beasts to follow me back to their pasture.

When I went back over to check with tenants about any damage done by the donkeys to their garden or stuff, they said none but also informed me that their dishwasher was kaput, so we had to run into town to buy another one. Quick look online, we find a suitable replacement for $359; get to store, they say no, it's $440, that was last week's sale price. We insist they pull up their web site and show them the price there, so they have to sell it to us for the lower price. Fuck you, Lowes.

Also, I have poison ivy rash on my legs and it itches like hell.

Update: We saw Mr. Mynxee's hip doc on Friday, the result of which is that his hip surgery is now scheduled for 30 July. Three days in hospital, then a 3-month recovery with no weight on the hip at all for the first six weeks. There are a number of things to be concerned about in terms of potential complications and quality of outcome but at least we now have a plan. And probably the best surgeon in the nation for this particular type of surgery, so fingers crossed that it all turns out as good as it can given the circumstances.
