Slept for ages today went to bed 10am woke up 6pm put movie on and fell asleep till 940pm to go to work.
I did have this dream though that I was shot twice and had trouble being employed because of it.

Showed up to work at 1030 due to driving my parents to the airport, not that I bothered to mention my late arrival to my bosses. One of them hadn't gotten to reviewing my latest submission, the other had come by my office, and then left to "work from home" without leaving me instructions or an email. I talked on the on the phone all morning basically, went to lunch, had two beers at lunch because :friday:, came back to office, joined a social conversation for 45 minutes, and just now sat down to read a doc my manager sent me which is likely to ultimately prove irrelevant to my work but I can read through to prove I learned something.
My job is p. Cool

Do all unis have such a shit connection? Because at mine there is 500mbit line for.... 20k users with 10k on on average and 110% bandwith usage lol
At my house I have 100mbit for just my dad and myself, can't they have something better, like idk, 4x those 500mbit line distributed evenly among the dorms?
I considered doing some SQL to fix it, but we prefered quickly loading a 5 hours old backup over taking the time to analyze what exactly VB does when threads are merged, which tables and columns are affected (VB has hundreds of tables and tons of cross references), etc. It would have been relatively easy, but it takes time (that I didn't have yesterday) to test and check everything, so we chose the quick, painless and safe solution over keeping the forums down longer.
What good is a backup if it doesn't get used?

Also where the fuck do you live / what the fuck service do you have that limits your download times? And how the hell much are you downloading to trigger those limits?
AFAIK my bandwidth is (theoretically) unlimited though I'm sure if I started running a server farm or something I'd trigger a cap at some point.
