Except that it applies to BOTH genders and the root proposition that women are systematically only portrayed in a stereotyped or troped role UNLIKE their supposedly more "complex" and better developed male counterparts is false, and at best a fading feature of video games and arguably countered by numerous examples of well-developed plots, characters, and entire games focusing on female protagonists.

I already granted the example of GTA So the "only" argument is like most absolutes obviously falsifiable, the less stringent assertion is MUCH harder and reverses the burden of proof as mentioned in my previous post

This is really the big key right here. This is a issue of our society as a whole, and I personally dont see what singling out videogames for exhibiting this nature does about the greater issue surrounding it.

It's more of the same, "X is worse than Y, therefore you should fix Y before you talk about X." Why can't we talk about X and Y? Especially if they suffer from similar problems? Feminism as I have learned in my various sociology and psychology classes is the centered around the issue of equality of men and women, with normal feminists centered around the belief that men and women should have an equal footing in life, no matter there gender or sex. Radical feminists, the ones which are so demonized by the media, those that wish to elevate themselves over males thus becoming the new rulers of human kind, which I'm not opposed too. Historically women for most of history, in eastern and western civilization have been treated as nothing more then property or as sex dolls, nothing less and nothing more. However, there are always exceptions in the system, as scene in strong female figures from Joan of Arc, Catherine the Great, or Elizabeth II. So letting women who I should remind you all is the ones who carry our unborn children, suffers through all pain and still gives us a future for humanity, so giving them greater respect and privileges is the least we can do for them.

While I do disagree with certain elements with Feminism, I do believe they have a right to voice there opinion just like anyone else, has the right to voice there opinion. Moreover, all media have tropes or stereotypes which men, women, gays, lesbians and other genders are subject too but videogames in my experience is the most egregious example of how sexist beliefs have been implanted in the minds of internet which has caused an almost 18th century sentiment to seep throughout the structure. As well as the acceptance of trolling, haters, or cyberbulling on the internet as valid form of communication is even more disconcerting. Thus reforming this behavior will take time, but it better to reform the current internet than let it continue in it's current form which is degenerating into an anarchy of little concern for consquences and only ones own needs aka Hedonism.

I will admit I am no saint either when it comes to trolling, in the past I intentionally trolled and caused hatred on a massive scale, however I have discovered that trying to change who you are on the internet is a futile effort and only distorts true form from a normal sensible human you are. It is better to stick to your principles then let yourself be corrupted by the belief that your essentially an anonymous on the internet (though that too is an illusion, since anyone with enough knowledge can track you down). So in conclusion, internet is a bastard.

This is one of those discussions that needs to be discussed from both sides. Yes, women get objectified and are portrayed in the media as only following few specific tropes, but those same supposed sexist acts play to a woman's advantage in some situations. If I get pulled over for speeding, i'm getting a ticket, but if a woman gets pulled over, she can talk her way out of it if she keeps her eyes in her tits. I'm all for equality, but only as soon a women are allowed on the frontlines and are required to register for the draft.

I bet that's only if you count browser, phone and "games" of that sort. If we're talking good ol' 'puter games, which you yanks and yank influenced like to call video games, then that figure cannot be anywhere near correct.
