Well actually this too.
TR: high DPS (lots of bullets!), low alpha, med survivability
NC: high alpha, lower DPS, high survivability (rugged)
VS: med dps/alpha, low survivability, technology (hovertanks and more esoteric weapons)

Tbh we should just make an outfit for each faction and just spend the time hunting each other down in our own proxy war on one server.
Yes, because I too would enjoy having three or four vaguely competent squad-players out of the 750 people that decided to turn up to the meatgrinder :P
Also, lore and music wise:
TR: sort of amarr-ish as in its an old ebil empire, smite the separatist infidels, victory is our tradition, etc.
In-game music: mostly dramatic orchestra pieces that you've already gotten used to from most millitary shooters.

Ingame music is like terran in sc2: hard rock with awesome guitar solos and a country/white trash twist.

VS: gallente-ish, in the sense that they don't give a fuck and want to commercialize dangerous alien tech. also with shiny blasters/railguns and whatnot. Lazors too, but only on the huge and terrible mech-like robots from ps1 that i hope will never make it into ps2.
Music-wise: sleek techno and industrial, but still epic enough to be a millitary game soundtrack.

Played Vanu in PS1, the new style for them varies from pretty cool to pretty fucking ugly. Voted Vanu again because at the end of the day technology equals might. All the other factions are gay.

TBH I think as long as we have some sort of consensus and we get to shoot people together, most of FHC will be happy.
