Welcome to my world, this is exactly how I feel about most things in my life. Chin up mate and take it one day at a time doing the best you can, it's all you can ask of yourself.
    What punkboy101 said.

I guess it's more or less true for everyone at any given moment. Just your "problem(s)" (quotation marks because I don't like referring to a kid as a problem ;-) ) are currently really big and - I'm sure - overwhelming. I'll be the first to tell you I have no idea what it's like, so good luck with everything. It is my experience that things have a way of working out in the end, often in unexpected ways. So, take the above advice and hang in there. Have a /hug too.

In other news, I foolishly decided to make my new coworkers cupcakes. Two out of three batches out of the oven, thinking of making some Chocolate Crinkle Cookies instead of a 3rd batch. Also still need to make some buttercream and whip out the marzipan for decoration purposes. Fuck my idiotic plans
I would like to order a dutch chocolate and orange cake please.

Your posting is medium, its not rare and its not well done

    My title relates to it.

I have a child (out of wedlock) and my paternity test came back with a "99.99998%" likelihood that I am the father.

Technically, I knew she was pregnant last fathers day, but was not confirmed as the father.

Now I am, and the my son is 4.5mo old, so first "real" fathers day. This is also 1.5weeks after I found out just how deeply penetrated I am by legally mandated child support bills, so not only is the "I am not sure I want to have a child under these conditions" problems but also the "holy shit this is fucking me in the ass" feeling, making me ambivalent about the entire adventure.

I'd <love> to meet a nice girl, marry, and end up with him in my own custody, but for now my head is -still- spinning wildly about the entire thing.

Should have rubbered up then. No sympathy, how do you think we feel paying for people like you every day.

True story: the first batch was chocolate flavour with some orange liqueur (Grand Marnier ftw) thrown in.

so for yesterday, my plan was to get home from work at noon and then play bf3 all day with a friend :nerdcave:

instead, especially because I finally had my bike repaired after 9 months and am thus three times more mobile, i went to see a friend(1) in the park, met another friend(2) while there, went from there to meet friends(3) who came over from budapest for a concert and another friend i hadn't seen for two months(4) - apparently he spent the last two weeks first playing d3 till inferno, then went on to make some nice pocket money with the auction house - went back to the park to where the free teknos had put up their soundsystem (not my music though) to meet 2, went from there to another friends(5) place with a nice couch drinking round, 2 came round later to celebrate his birthday. We sang him a happy birthday, he said noone ever had done this for him and was rather moved.

From there I went to a house party with 3 and 4 and stayed there until hungarian friends went to catch their train home in the morning. Hungarian friends were mindblown that you can throw a party where basically anyone can come, even random people who walked by, realized there was a party and turned around. Said if you did this in Budapest, you would end up with a completely empty flat.

so yeah. it was good. First 30°C day of the year and apparently half the city instantly switched into summer party mode took three showers and cycled back and fourth through the city, it was awesome. Especially the ride home at 6 am through an empty, light city. It has been a while since I did this.

All of this with some party supplies I found in my drawer and a really nice drinking rhythm, so I'm not the slightest bit hungover (cycling like a motherfucker helps with that greatly as well).

today: Breakfast with buns from a real baker, really nice ham from the farmers market (without all the salt, spices and whatnot, it's amazing and looks and tastes twice as good as anything from the supermarket) and fresh strawberries. Now maximum chillout.

Only thing I have to do is to waddle over to the gas station in flip-flops to get some cigarettes :lifeisgud:

Creative at least. Did it match your application standards?

I do not celebrate father's day because I have no father, only several variations of disappointing failed parenthood.

Already been mentioned but if you had bothered to read earlier you're not paying for me you idiot.

I'm paying nearly 100% of all of my son's bills now, and I absolutely believe that since I am able to afford them the taxpayer/government should certainly not being paying for them in my place.

So you're welcome for me being a responsible father and NOT driving up your tax rate.

Also I am now sober again.
I tried to be cool and all I got was a lousy warning about my sig being too big.

Happy Fathers Day to all you dads. Still waiting to see if the girl child remembers her dad today. If not, she and I are going to have yet another discussion about her inconsiderate attitude. Sigh. Being the wicked stepmother can be tiresome.

    OMG, Indi, nomnomnom!!!

Tyrus: Hang in there, that whole situation can't be easy even if you can afford the child support/expenses (which if I recall, seem really high).

I love my electric leafblower...screw sweeping 1K sf of decking and patio. Power tools ftw. It is sunny and warm today, so scrubbed and power washed the inside of my horse trailer. First time since I bought it 5 or 6 years ago. Kinda fun, actually, and now it looks much better.

Speaking of horses, Ix Forres just became a minor celebrity thanks to his website.

In other news, I had explosive liquid diarrhea at 2:30 this morning and am now very achy.
