Need an iPod Touch browser

Opera Mini doesn't work because you have to have a 3G connection at first startup or it won't work.

I need adblock of some sort to retain my sanity.

The Privately browser sounds good too since I use the Touch at work but the App Store doesn't seem to have it

Well actually no its not. You are unlikely to find an alternate browser on the itunes store as it would be in competition with one of the core apps already installed on the iPhone (ie, safari). I assumed the iPod touch already came with safari on it, but if it doesn't then this is a deliberate decision by apple to prevent the device from having a web browser. You have chosen a platform with a walled garden which gives you the benefit of knowing all of the apps you can purchase are safe and will work without issues, but also prevents you from installing alternate applications that the devices manufacturer doesn't want you to have access to.

Uninformed? Did I not say I assumed it already came with safari? Also if you already know of adblocking software for your touch, why don't you do a little research in to them or download them and try them? We are not your mother, do some of your own research.

Dude, it's impressive that you can be so wrong in just one post. There are absolutely loads of alternative browsers for iOS. If you were bitching about, say, how only Safari can use the JIT Javascript engine, then that would be fair enough, but lack of browsers? It's not 2009 any more.
