Yes because the current crow has so much... "character"? Generic or not this looks about ten times better than Condor hulls but whatever. This is just going to degenerate into the same "hurf blurf ugly EVE ships = unique and better" art-is-subjective discussion again, isn't it?
No, the current crow simply looks better than that generic POS.
That ship looks like a jet with slanted wings and retarded rocket pods.
Drop the rocket pods/engines from the top to the back of the wings and I'd support it.*

* It reminds me of my Storm Petrel from Independence War: Edge of Chaos. How I miss my little Storm Petrel.
so you'd want it to look entirely like a basic jet...
While it does have the basic form of a jet, struts (i.e., wings) make good weapon/engine-mounting platforms for spaceships. The above model still avoids the 'curved-dagger winged' approach so overused in sci-fi. So, if one ship in Eve looks like that? Personally, I see no problem. Hey, I believe we've all seen far worse.

gog.com has I-War 1 & 2 in a Windows 7 ready (I assume, all their releases are) DRM free package for something like 6$ each.
Thanks theBlind. Since leaving Eve I've burned myself out on Alpha Centauri (again! only took 6 months this time), and am currently tinkering with EoC to get it running again (as I'm *blush* still running XP). If that fails I'll check gog.com.
