Actually, now that I think about it, if they do extend the idea of T2 ships being based on the T1 hull but not identical, I can see them using it and it working, but not in isolation.

So the condor uses the base model (lopsided)
Crow uses this
Raptor using a 3rd model.

Different models for every T2 ship might be a bit much. I mean, it would make more sense than "someone built an advanced version of a T1 ship that looks somewhat different, and then some other manufacturer built another T2 version with the exact same base layout but different doodads", but it's even more work than making unique T2 hulls already is.

Nobody said unique is bad, but unique does not mean ugly, impractical, random and idiotic looking. I prefer a "consistent theme" that's not retarded over one that is, thank you very much. But whatever. I'm just glad certain people in here are not ship designers for EVE.
