I liked the trailer. Some people are going to whine about a non one to one re production of the game and would have done irregardless of what Netflix did.

I'm glad they're bringing back one of the two or three good characters from Voyager, but the action in the trailer does not fill me with confidence. OTOH if they let Chabon actually drive the show and Kurtzman keeps his stinking paws off it, we have a shot at getting a decent story.

Watchmen actually looks like it could be interesting too. Jeremy Irons devouring scenery as Ozy? Yespls.

Eisenhorn is good for 40k fiction, but it's not actually good. It's strength was in having actual characters (compared to other 40k stuff), which is kind of the baseline for other fiction.

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.
