I would have liked a commisar cain series tbh. Some dark comedy to offset the grim dark of 40k

BBC's adaption of Pullman's 'His Dark Materials' trilogy looking fucking amazing
not afraid to admit i loved the books, still do.
Panserbjørn! That's going straight on my watch list, thank you!
Looks sick, hope mcavoy doesn't put too much emotion into asriel.
For anyone wanting the best versions (imo)
It's fine though?

I liked the trailer. Some people are going to whine about a non one to one re production of the game and would have done irregardless of what Netflix did.

It's also iirc based entirely on the books, so expect lolgamers losing their shit over differences no matter what.
edit: replaced trailer as the one I had originally linked was removed, might not work everywhere (works in UK)

I'm glad they're bringing back one of the two or three good characters from Voyager, but the action in the trailer does not fill me with confidence. OTOH if they let Chabon actually drive the show and Kurtzman keeps his stinking paws off it, we have a shot at getting a decent story.
Watchmen actually looks like it could be interesting too. Jeremy Irons devouring scenery as Ozy? Yespls.
